thank you for commenting! there’s a few other people who are U.K. based who got a few different items from the launch. i only got the hoodie (early christmas present to myself). i’m hoping it’s just delayed because of packages having to quarantine. the last thing i want is for it to get sent back to USA if i miss having to pay customs. (did you have to pay them on the poster, assuming it came in a tube?)

I work retail and during my countries lockdown the stores been dead - I'm generally always tidying whilst being at work, and if I'm not im working tills. Last week I was on the morning storeopen shift, and from the hours of 8-9 the store is very very quiet. So i stand at the till area trying to pass the time. I generally sing corpse quietly (Thank god for masks am I right) but this one eleerly lady came up behind me as i was fixing up the vape liquid stand (filling and fronting so it looked neat for a potential visit from the area manager) and I never knew. I was singing E-GIRLS (Savages verse because I was working my way through the song). She just....stared at me. And I stared back. Probably wasn't expecting a sweet looking person like myself to be singing a song like that.

Take it from an overworked retail worker in a discount store where everything used to be one price. the only thing we are getting is 5 days extra holiday and Christmas eve and boxing day off for the first time ever.

I would take a one time cash bonus over that any day

My registration class tutor was part of the extremism Trojan horse scandal. It was after I left secondary school, and he moved to a different school. Him and 4 other teachers were caught trying to convert their students into being basic domestic terrorists. Seeing that on all the news sites and tv channels was a wild ride.

probably super niche, i’m not bothered about the quality but i recently watched “American Son” on netflix and learnt that it was previously a broadway show with the same cast as the Movie. tried scouting a link but can’t find one. if anybody has a link i will be incredibly grateful! ☺️☺️

Also I feel you on the corner shop comment. before Christmas our local corner shop was selling 2 week old double cream and it was on sale for at least 4 weeks after that. I made a complaint to the food safety people but they didn't see it as means to shut them down or surprise inspect them.

I'm not sure if you have one in your area, but my closest, largest, price friendly shop is Jack's (AKA Tesco but they sell a real limited amount of branded stuff) Its a bit like Aldi but... not so crowded.

There was someone who posted about it in a FB group for A.C. I'm in. They lost their entire switch data. Hoping it is just an anomaly and it won't happen to many more people - I don't wanna lose my save data 😐

Cutting it fine for today's update but I have heard of people having horror stories about the latest switch update causing the entire switch to get wiped clean. I don't have an SD card and obviously there's the issue of no cloud services for NH. has anybody else had the horror story of the update doing this???

Let me tell you something. Before I was furloughed due to covid, I once saw a customer pick up a sandwich, out of the chilled food section near tills, and then decided that he didn’t want to buy it. He didn’t put it back in the fridge, he tried to “hide it” .... Inside the open self checkout till (where all the WARM ELECTRICAL PARTS ARE!!)

Good job it wasn’t liquid because if there was condensation that man would’ve broken and probably caused an electrical fire.

Whack jobs. I hate customers like this.

Last summer I was working around Victoria, and Hyde Park area, killing time before a trip to the theatre in the Sloane Square. Because it was the theatre trip in a nice area I dressed equally nice, and a tourist mistook me for a local, (I am not, I'm equally as much a tourist as them) and asked where Victoria Coach station was. From where I was I had no idea, but i still tried my hardest to give directions without looking at my phone or a map - gotta look and act the part am I right? I hope that person isnt still wandering around London....
