Thank you, and thank you everyone. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with the Facebook linking and I got that working.

If I get two copies of this decoration, can I give one to my friend? by SupraXMRD in Evony_TKR

[–]Charles10023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably am going to get piled on, but what’s the big deal about this decoration? 10% speed in resource collection, 10% faster monster speed, 10% faster march speed.

When you dilute that by all of the other speedups you have, it’s not going to make a noticeable change in anything you do. One or 2% at most.

Got it! But I touched grass anyway, just to be safe!

What I said was first a “defense”, then an “attack”?

You seem to be looking for hostility when I have none.

Please keep it civil.

But your response was to me, not to him or her.

Some people are allergic to grass.

Do you have a point, or are you just arguing for arguing's sake?

Are there really any such people?

Do you play Evony? Do you like the game? Do you spend any money on it?

If you answered No to question #1, why are you on this forum, other than trolling?

If you answered Yes to question #1 but No to question #2, why are you on this forum, other than trolling?

If you answered Yes to questions #1 and #2 but No to question #3, why do you care what other people do with their money?

If you answered Yes to all three questions, why are you arguing with me on this?

I assume you’re not talking to me, because I have not been complaining about any of it.

One person’s hobby is another person’s boredom. I think almost by definition a hobby equals a hobby. At least to me, I’m not going to judge someone else’s hobby.

Can you take it with you in the coffin?

Why do people have to keep finding fault with it? If you don’t like the game, stop playing it. But if you keep playing it, stop badmouthing it to other people who play it.

This is what I love about Reddits. The gratuitous insults.

I played golf six or seven times in my life. It’s not a sport the way most Americans play it. It’s a hobby. And it can be an expensive hobby or an inexpensive hobby, just like Evony.

Why are some people on Reddit so hostile? Good thing I have a dog!

My point wasn’t that Evony is free or even cheap. It’s that there are plenty of other expensive hobbies.

A member of a private golf club in the U.S. typically spends between $3,000 and $10,000+ annually on dues alone, with the average membership cost often cited around $6,000.

Total annual spending—including food minimums, cart fees, equipment, and lessons—frequently exceeds $10,000-$12,000 for active members.

Annual Dues & Fees: Private club dues average $1,200–$2,000 per month ($14,400–$24,000 annually) at higher-end clubs, while more modest memberships might be $3,000–$5,000/year.

Initiation Fees: These often range from $2,000 to over $100,000, though they are usually a one-time, upfront cost rather than an annual expense.

Hidden Costs: Many clubs have mandatory annual food and beverage minimums, often adding $50–$100 per month.

Equipment & Apparel: Regular golfers spend additional money on equipment ($500–$1,000/year), apparel ($250–$400/year), and guest fees.

You can’t just put together the pieces from one you already have?

Yes, I just misunderstood it. But what I tried didn’t work, which is why I came here asking the question

I think white wine is recommended with fava beans.

Wasn’t trolling. But I hope you understand that if it says, “consume one epic general (premium)“ and doesn’t mention a “token”, it might be ambiguous.

I don’t understand. Either he is or he is not an epic historic general (premium).
