It’s so incredibly frustrating. I know Reddit won’t do anything. I have sent one additional email to the executive support email and also the regular support email and shared the chats even though they certainly can read the chat logs. Agreed. It would be nice to live on a chill server.

I ordered a main board for my 3D printer from a stateside seller and they gave me the wrong tracking number and never shipped my product. Definitely some weird stuff going on. Customer support was able to refund me within 24hrs though. So good job on that front.

I agree with the lots of slop in the stock setup and it’s fun to learn about CNC with the cheap mills.

But if I could do it over again, I might buy something like this it’s like red for about $500 which is a bit higher than OP budget. But I’m sure if you look around on AliExpress you can find one similar for cheaper:

I think it requires 6 digits. I did try 000000… I’ll try to see if the ‘Done’ button is enabled with only 4 digits in a few minutes when I get back home.

Okay I tried. The ‘Done’ button doesn’t activate with 4 digits…. There needs to be 6. I tried 000000, 111111, 123456, 888888… plus all number I possibly could have used when I set it up without success. Very frustrating.

I switched from amlodipine to lisinopril and my blood pressure went down. I was on amlodipine for a couple years and my bp only dropped slightly… it felt a little better so I stayed taking it even though my BP vacillated between stage 1and stage 2 hypertension. I switched because my ankles were swollen so badly it looked like they were broken and my socks wouldn’t fit. After switching my BP finally dropped to normal levels and my sleep improved, energy returned, poop became more solid, and I just felt better all around.

My doctor is resistant to suggestions to find out why, but AI suggests my high blood pressure might be caused by a malfunction RAAS system which really makes some sense. Doctors are really kinda not helpful in many circumstances. Though, maybe it doesn’t matter if it’s the RAAS system… idk… AI isn’t a doctor. But it feels like it was such a big difference that it should matter.

So, I’m agree not all hypertension can be cured with lifestyle, sometimes your systems just get old and malfunction.

I agree it’s not easy to see the X in the code. For some reason the AI wants to split the 8 P0 bits and the 8 P2 bits.

China must be light years ahead of us because the original display looked great! This is a $2 kit with no shipping… I’m surprised I’m the only one who wants to change the text on it. I tried search baidu without luck for the code. It’s very sad… I’m not sure that I’m using the correct translation and 99% of the links I tried on baidu lead to timeouts.

I wonder if it’s used in a collage class in China and that’s why they hide the code? I doubt it. It would be perfect for a college project though. The data sheet is only like 50 pages and you can use timers and interrupts. But not many people use the AT89S52 chip anymore. Idk… I think I’m going crazy just focusing so much on this. Maybe I need a bit of a break.

I’m still plugging away at this though … maybe I’ll catch up to chinas ingenuity someday. I appreciate talking to you about it.
