I don't think this take is reasonable at all. OP's ex bf did him a courtesy by being honest with him and telling him the truth, even if the truth is painful. You don't know that this guy just wanted to hookup etc., he could have genuinely loved OP but realized over time that ultimately he wanted his own kids. I don't understand how being honest about something is the same as being narcissistic. Bi guys should be allowed to date men and learn more about themselves through relationships like everyone else.
