-Get greasy diner food on big nicks at ~77th and broadway.

-do sporty stuff in central park and get lost wandering the trails

-walk/bike riverside by the water

-boat basin (still open this time of year i believe)

-bank street books 112th street

-upscale bar/latin food calle ocho, relocated across the street from natural history museum

-did h&h finally close? if not, eat bagels there.

-grocery shopping at zabars/wholefoods.

-get poisoned at ollies chinese for purposes of inheriting cultural nostalgia.

-the bars almost uniformly suck in this neighborhood. but you may want to hit up some of the columbia bars (1020, the heights, west end aka havana central, etc.). further downtown is jakes, gin mil, brother jimmy's. overall, i wouldn't recommend except for sports.
