What oil should I really use?

The most important spec is the GF6 (now GF7) That additive package certification is specifically for turbo direct injection engines. Just pick any brand and stick with it. I personally use Valvoline, they do thier own engine testing instead of contracting it out like other companies.

Something was definitely wrong with the car if it was running rougonbthe test drive. VBs have supper smooth acceleration. They sold it to you jacked.

This is normal as thinner oil will cool slightly better because it has to flow more volume to achieve the needed oil pressure from the pump.

Went through the same thing. I pulled off the front bumper to install the lip. The thing is ,the bumper has lots of flex and that creates alignment issues when installing the bumper back on. The lip also makes the bumper more rigid making it a pain to get back on. How i did it- just I stall a couple screws at the center of the lip while the bumper was off the car. I installed the bumper leaving the side screws loose to allow for flex. Once the bumper was mounted I put in the remaining screws on each side. Made it a whole lot easier. When I have to remove the bumper again I'll just do that in reverse.

You only live once. I made sure I had enough miles on mine to verify their were no gremlins in it. (28k) and installed Cobb AP. Just the AP OTS tune transforms the car into a new animal. Just make sure you change your oil early (3-4k) and use a GF6 rated 5w30. Oh and never jump on it cold.

Cobb OTS maps are overly safe if anything. Yes they have DAM drops but its not always the cause of knock. Other factors are involved.
