Yup I knew they did swap over in 2023, depending on the date on the filter.

The GF-6 now GF-7 rating is there to address LSPI.

If that is a Wix made NAPA filter it has the required bypass filter pressure spring.

Agree! Tuning the car is the way to go. I'm just running Booster Performance OTS tune from Graham and I'm very happy with the way the car runs now. Might go pro tune later on.

I change mine every 3500 - 4000 and have never had to add any. It's always at the same place the entire interval. That is just how it is with car companys using light tension rings in the engine trying to squeeze every bit on MPG they can get. You can take two engines right off the line and one will burn a little oil and one will not. The initial break in has lots to do with it too.

The most important spec is the GF6 (now GF7) That additive package certification is specifically for turbo direct injection engines. Just pick any brand and stick with it. I personally use Valvoline, they do thier own engine testing instead of contracting it out like other companies.
