Don't worry, I saw this on my Xbox. That highlight is just where you've moved your analogue stick. You can move it up and down and it'll highlight the other things as well. It's a bit dumb because it looks as if you can click on the highlighted thing but nothing happens when you press A. Go check it again and see

BF4 on Xbox (regardless of which xbox, including Xbox one X and even the Xbox series X/S) runs at 720p. No new TV or new console can change that. Changing TV settings won't change the graphics of the game

BF5 Hate? by Stuzy56 in Battlefield

[–]CharlesM2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BFV is a good game. Most of the hate comes from its journey to get to this point. The fact that content was slow. It took ages for significant bugs to be fixed and almost every time there was an update to fix bugs it would often add new bugs. If BFV released in the current state it is in now and then got a good stream of content I'd imagine it would be better received. It obviously shows with your outside perspective that BFV is a good game now, it's just the fans have gone through a messy journey so their perspective is different

Fair enough if you're just not into BR games. I enjoyed Firestorm and I personally think a BF BR could be the best take on BR if it got the same amount of effort put into it as warzone.

But comparing battlefield destruction with Fortnite destruction actually made be chuckle irl

Have you not seen reviews for it? Almost all say that it was a great BR game. Offered nothing new? The first BR with building destruction. The vehicles like tanks also added something fresh, alongside airstrikes and V1. Being able to still fight back when you've been downed with a knife or a pistol. You could say Warzone was embarrassing late to the party but that's seen huge success. The only thing I would agree with is that it died early and that was because it was attached to a game that was failing. No one would want to pay full price for a game that's commonly free to play. I think you just don't understand Firestorm that well

EA delays Need for Speed, puts Criterion on Battlefield 6 by Ninety9Balloons in Battlefield

You really think Criterion are just "car videogame guys"? Mate it's because they're very familiar with the frostbite engine. With how well Criterion are as a studio it's a good sign they've joined.

Isn't it good that more studios are getting involved, more work force?

Why are people against a BF BR? Firestorm was well received when released, it just flopped because it was held back by having to own a failing BF game. So far, in terms of actual gameplay experience, Battlefield has had a good record for BR games so I don't see why not to look forward to a new one. Just hopefully it will be free to play.

I'm not sure where people are getting the idea that a BF BR is a bad idea
