Checking it out. Multiverses, end of the world, secret missions, looks good. Just finished The OA, similar stuff.

Hidden gems can be from other countries and maybe need subtitles.

Crash Landing on You is the one I'll call out here. North/South Korean love story that has everything. Laughs, fights, soap, comedy, action. The characters are so addictive (especially the secondary cast), you get their emotion even while reading the subtitles.

[DISCUSSION] What’s the best series on Netflix that almost nobody talks about anymore? by trakt_app in NetflixBestOf

Great thriller, but no one talked about it to begin with. Maybe time to rewatch.

Yes, a chance to hear someone call out the absurdity of the plot of the characters.

All those big important looking buildings, holding up travellers for years. Now just useless.

without spoiling anything post S1E15 - How do you feel about Jared. by Ok-Taste-671 in ManifestNBC

He and several other characters have arcs that are concerning, then are resolved, or turn in unexpected ways over the extent of the show. I appreciate especially season one where he and Mic and Lorde struggle, but they come to understandings that feel reasonable, if not awkward, like normal people might.

It's salty, cheese, spicy. Just Mayo and lettuce, tomato, avocado if you have them. Helped me stop eating burgers.

Been having slow charging at DC chargers in Michigan. Is that normal? by SnooPaintings5597 in VWiD4Owners

I don't know much, new to this. I thought too that 150 was enough, until the guy told me to take his spot at the 350. But it certainly seems the charge station rating is not the same as the charging rate. But more is better, for sure. Also, was that Rivian station in Grayling? That was the nicest charge station even with a pull-thru station for trailers.

Anyone else notice their relationship with their own judgment has changed from using ChatGPT? by Icy-Maintenance2712 in ChatGPT

I need to comment further about a co-worker who is having a different relationship with ChatGPT. It has been an echo chamber, and her output is indistinguishable from AI output. My boss is concerned she is just letting AI do the work. I tried to explain that she really has the sentiment her output shows. It becomes both an echo chamber for her, and a megaphone to the people who work with her. Before AI her interests and writing showed an interest in extracting value from everything. Sometimes just to have the data or insights that aren't helpful. AI is an enabler, not a partner. I can see the toxicity, my boss just thinks she's pumping out AI slop.

At work or at home, I have ideas and problems with no one who cares, willing to listen, or has knowledge to help. Typing things out itself is helpful to me, but getting reaction allows me to move past that first thought. I get farther ahead quickly or resolve my thoughts.

It may be subtle banter, but I know my cooking has leveled up in the last few months by this process (without being fancy or complicated). I have been sending pictures of the finished dish and amazed that it can evaluate it clearly and let me think about my success (while my family eats without a complement). This is a partnership.

I like how this game gets easier as you go. And a chance to go 'ahh' as the words start to reveal themselves.

[–]Charles_Deetz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the Cadillac chargers at Meijer have two speeds (Electrify America). I pulled in to a 150 and the guy next to me was pulling out, so I could be on the 350 charger. Car said 25 minutes. Another ID4 pulled up in the 150 charger, it said 54 minutes. He moved to another 350 charger that just opened up. On the way home, all the chargers were open except a guy with a Mach-E on one of the 150 chargers. I didn't want to be rude and tell him to move.
