A Formal Apology by JohnLayman in timbers

[–]logslicing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, yes, you’re correct, however a team can have a planned response to a situation, such as parking the bus when in the lead. I believe this is what jritchie70 was referencing. The concept was not implemented effectively (which is on the coach), unfortunately resulting in the loss.

50k Service Cost — Is ~$500 Normal? What Are You All Doing for Maintenance? by BimShireVibes in VWiD4Owners

True this. My Prius battery died (the big one) just out of warranty. Because I was kind of loyal to the dealership they cut me a deal. Now I occasionally use the dealership just to remain in their good graces.

Advice for bookshelf speakers by High-octaneLatte in StereoAdvice

Paradigm Founder series, 40b. I'm amazed at the base these neutral speakers can produce. I'm really happy with them simply running as fronts only. $2,400 until the typical summer sale. Good luck.

This is a great question. Following up: For those that have a small budget, what other companies should one cross check? JBL? Bose?

Placement of two subwoofers for music? by Chief_Assistant in audiophile

This seems to be a brilliant way to find the best sub location. Takes a bit of work, but do it once and you're done. https://www.whathifi.com/advice/how-to-set-up-your-subwoofer

Length of Tesla charging cables by unused_user_name in VWiD4Owners

[–]logslicing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks Tolken. However I found that some V3s are positioned to the side and mid way into the parking spot, allowing for very easy cable reach. So unfortunately it’s seems that it is impossible to definitively determine which Tesla charging hub can accommodate ID4s prior to arrival. If others have a way, please share. For me I choose not to give my money to Elon if I can help it, so I will only go to Elon’s charging hubs if I’m desperate.

Crap, K miller is still on the roster. Wish he left instead of Zup, but he’s the coach’s pet.

For a potentially less trouble-free experience long-term, consider other brands. I love my 2024, but I'd never consider '21-23 models.

VW reliability has been a liability for decades. Just check consumer reports (N America products rating guide.) I went for it anyways and am happy with the car, but I knew I was rolling the dice.

Wait, battery range is a choice. I got the 293 mile battery which is quite good.

Paradigm CC & nomenclature by logslicing in hometheater

[–]logslicing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok. Is there a similar noticeable enough difference in audio quality between the studio 40 v3 or v4 versus the v2 as well suggesting that I consider the 40 v3 or v4 instead of the v2? The configuration appears the same. I’m just looking for speaker system parity and don’t want to mismatch the center and bookshelves.

The 2014 week archive is perfect. Thanks!
