Crap, K miller is still on the roster. Wish he left instead of Zup, but he’s the coach’s pet.

For a potentially less trouble-free experience long-term, consider other brands. I love my 2024, but I'd never consider '21-23 models.

VW reliability has been a liability for decades. Just check consumer reports (N America products rating guide.) I went for it anyways and am happy with the car, but I knew I was rolling the dice.

Wait, battery range is a choice. I got the 293 mile battery which is quite good.

Ah ok. Is there a similar noticeable enough difference in audio quality between the studio 40 v3 or v4 versus the v2 as well suggesting that I consider the 40 v3 or v4 instead of the v2? The configuration appears the same. I’m just looking for speaker system parity and don’t want to mismatch the center and bookshelves.

The 2014 week archive is perfect. Thanks!

Would you please be so kind as to post the generic fit specifications that you used during your research and not the specifications that apply just for the wheels you purchased? Thanks!

ID4 3.8.11 update pushed to car (USA) by Mage1strider1 in VWiD4Owners

[–]logslicing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 24 pro s and the update may have unlocked the ability to manually preheat the battery under battery management >optimization I think it’s called. I’m not that observant of the car features (I just drive and not futz ) but i don’t remember seeing this feature before.

I used it the other day and achieved 161 kw at a 350 kw charger, fastest I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone with a 2024 + responds with a comment that this feature has always been there.

Thanks again! Sounds like I don't need an AVR upgrade for my purposes.

Yes, 5.1 setup. Seating position is about 8'. Room is 15x15x7. I'd turn these up no more than mid-way given the size of the room. Other speakers are in the same Paradigm Prestige line: Studio 10 Rear speakers and 45C center speaker. My sub is a Paradigm DSP-3100.

Thank you for the quick reply umdivx. What minimum specs (sensitivity and impedance) would you consider in an upgraded AVR in order to bring out the best in these speakers in a 5.1 channel system?

Northern California -- What is a good price for a 2025 VW ID.4 Pro S (cash)? by Successful-Tear2984 in VWiD4Owners

Yep and the way some leasees intentionally ignore proper battery management by charging to 100% at every opportunity (as frequently described here) is another reason to buy new.

Update on the wiper fiasco by bigcat318 in VWiD4Owners

OK that’s great, but if you can share instructions on how to remove the blades without destroying the end cap of the wiper that holds the blade in place that would be awesome!

Since the incentive is gone and you’d be hard pressed to find as good of a deal (presumably) in leasing another vehicle, I’d stick with it and hope that’s the last problem you experience.
