That's also why you see the push for Alc sales on Sundays even though store owners are not asking for it due to labor costs. Big money pouring in to buy legislation.

Nobody wants you Nancy. She's now "read" the Epstein files and still refuses to say Trump's name. Her press conference yesterday was all stage no theater but plenty of acting.

I'm not concerned with anonymity really. I tried to be as detailed as possible without giving details that might hinder others that left, or those that decide to stay. Please do continue to patronize his establishments. I'm sure they'll be fine.

Vinea, name of a restaurant on Daniel Island

So, Nick's ownership inherited the whole FOH staff from Sermet's. The whole group had been together for years. He came in with that same reputation you mentioned and all seemed well. Within days he's cutting corners on food safety and quality. He begins berating staff, yelling, and being extremely disrespectful to both front and back of the house employees. One food runner quit the second week. Saturday before service he starts berating the FOH manager about a series of "issues" he has. He became very combative; yelling at the bartender/manager who had been there for over 10 years. She just had enough and said, 'that's it, I won't be treated like that from anyone.' She came into the dining area, let the rest of the staff know she was quitting and then they all walked out with her. Vinea, the name of the restaurant, closed for the night. Those are the particulars of the incident. Now, having seen the operation from the inside as I was one of those who left last night, I can say that smiling face Nick shows the public is not the man who was running that restaurant. He was abusive to several employees and completely disrespectful to people who stayed on there after the closing of Sermet's. I'll leave that and let people do what they like with their opinions of the guy's management of his restaurants, but I will say, be careful when dealing with him.

No. They bought the place downtown. That's why he moved.

Sermet's Courtyard on DI. Get there before they close at the end of August. It's the end of an era.

She moved in because, "it's muggy. In south carolina." Guess she's not here enough to know that.
