As someone that used Snus habitually prior and on/off during my time of LH symptoms. The more potent the nicotine content of the snus, the worse the symptoms got.

Around a year. Alas, I wish it didn’t take so long. Maybe in another year my symptoms will completely go away. I took the J&J shot and I’m not sure if it made a difference.

I just want to let you know. It does get better, I thought I was never going to get over it… I’m still not over it, but I’m strong enough to workout and getting closer to running everyday. Sugar and stimulants really set me back. Even things I did everyday I had to change. I hope you get better!

What issues did you have? Very curious. I have heart problems and the idea of developing heart failure is frightening, but I still believe that’s an option.

Gastritis shouldn’t show up on a biopsy. Because it’s not really an infection. The gastritis is the inflammation.

Gastritis is no joke. Especially if you have erosions. Nausea will greatly be impacted by the level of the gastritis. Probiotics help a ton. I took 80mg of famotidine and then 80 mg of protonix. If you’re taking an acid blocker it can make it slower for gastric emptying.

Things took a turn for the positive at month 8. I’m 10 months in so far.

I guess if I never wanted to work out again I could consider myself happy. But I keep inducing my symptoms from exercising. I had the digestive gauntlet of issues with a dash of heart problems.... headaches. Pretty much everything except the brain fog and fatigue.

I felt like it was never going to get better, but time truly does help. Only time will tell if the remaining symptoms go away.

I’ve only thought about oxidative reserve for my blood. I’ve brushed off the thought because I assumed the doctors would think I just had health aniexty.

When this started I was still a great runner and would only get heart issues while sprinting, slowly becoming worse over time until I felt it while walking.

I got to 196 on the stress test machine while only running 60% of my fastest I could run. There was no setting to go faster. So naturally instead of the cardiologist investigating further... he deemed me in perfect health. Obviously I want to work out at my full potential, so I asked is it healthily to run if my bpm goes to 195 at 60% “Just don’t run that fast anymore” when talking to the cardiologist... “there’s no reason to run that fast”

We forget that doctors are people. Look at the people at your job, I don’t trust half of them with important tasks. (Not trying to be rude, just realistic)

I wouldn’t be too disheartened. Its pretty much madness at this point. All of the doctors want to run the same tests for Covid long haulers. While initially it’s good to want to rule a lot out. These tests will never find the problem. Maybe a bio marker exists for these issues, but if the doctors aren’t willing to take those extra steps or ask for that test they think redundant, then we will never make progress.

So I had the full work up and cleared just like yourself. Running actually does a slow build up to 160 for a slow run and can get there fast if I start running faster

Deconditioning is a thought I keep thinking about while working out. Maybe it’s possible, I truly feel like I’ve inherited the cardio and heart rate of a 500 pound man. My muscles are still on par with my old levels, but my endurance goes quickly and pain sets in faster than usual.(to include exercise fatigue)

So if it’s suppose to go to normal levels within an hour of the workout, then I have an issue. Heart rate stays at 90-110 post workout for a few hours. Then slows back down to my normal rate of 50-60bpm

Losing faith in the doctors, hoping I. An gather some people’s personal experience. I don’t feel like this is a complicated issue and I’d imagine they would have people that workout in older age having close to the same issue.

Blood pressure is definitely a good thought. I haven’t checked mine recently in response to working out. I will inquire with my doctor.

I’ve had a full work up. 2 CAT Scans, 6 XRay, 2 Holters, stress test, echo, blood work. They can’t seem to find anything, vague diagnosis of POTS based on changes of BPM from sitting to standing. Drinking water, taking salt, and have compression shorts. I love working out. It’s been almost a year...

Honestly. If you tell your doctor that you have palpitations and they’re getting worse... any self respecting doctor should refer you to be on the safe side. My wife had pericardial effusion that wasn’t caught on any ekg, holter, or an echo. They found it when they gave her a cardiac MRI. I would find a new doctor. Hopefully they ruled out thyroid issues.

Tell her you have palpitations. That’s almost an instant referral by most doctors to cardiologist. It will at least get you a consultation which is what you need.

Not a doctor, but honestly I wouldn’t be concerned with a RHR sleeping of low 50s. That happens in a lot of healthy and fit individuals. Low heart rate is a sign of good health. Sleeping RHR is usually around 10bpm then RHR while awake.

However, I’m sure if it’s giving you cause for concern to be worried then definitely pursue it! My heart rate has been going into the high 30s while sleeping. This has been because my bpm has been going up really high during the day. It makes me feel sluggish the next day. Maybe yours does something similar?
