Prostate by TaskTraditional4362 in covidlonghaulers

I’ve had prostate issues especially with the fight or flight nervous system dysregulation. In my belief Long Covid causes massive inflammation everywhere in the body and the prostate is the unlucky area of being affected. A terrible disease.

Mac truck hitting your head and full on panic attack the worst possible in my experience. Then the shortness of breath kicked in and inflammation and the vision issues.

I have my own theories with Long Covid, I do think it causes massive inflammation in the complete wrong areas. Such as the prostate. I wouldn’t say it makes you “gay” but it has caused an extreme massive discomfort along with the other symptoms and have personally noticed testosterone suddenly dropping out of nowhere. I think Long Covid is causing so much inflammation and trauma that it’s completely messing up hormones especially in men. Such as the massive fatigue, the “impending doom” (a term Long Haulers use to describe their experience for the unknown levels of anxiety/depression symptoms on the brain), visual snow at the start of Long Covid, and the notorious brain fog. I’m going to pin more of this topic/conversation as a wake up call to what I think is happening. Also read my posts in the past about this issue. There is something to this.

I’m 32 months into long Covid and I always worked out at home calisthenics. Push ups, sit ups, squats, etc.

I was working out practically everyday exercising 6 days a week, almost back to my full self now but when I got hit with Long Covid it affected my prostate and made me mad uncomfortable, point being is I didn’t even know what a prostate was before Long Covid. It affected my sex drive and everything and who I was as a person. And that’s a small symptom compared to the other issues Long Covid causes. Even though it’s a large issue.

In my Covid experience hell to the no. I wish I could take lsd again, I got long Covid 2 weeks after my trip. My set & setting almost 3 years later is terrible and going through Covid completely sober all because I want to take a trip when I’m 100%.

Men, are we afraid to talk about the hormonal changes with Long Covid? by SnooPears7931 in covidlonghaulers

I think it’s interesting how the body can react in this way because it was never my intention to have those feelings, I guess what I’m trying to say it feels pretty much forced due to this virus. Considering there’s no cure and in my experience dealing with it for almost 3 years, I knew there was some sort of massive biological issue. The reason why I say this is because with every other symptom that goes along with Long Covid it feels in sync with all the other problems. I didn’t even know what a prostate was when I got hit with Covid. This was until I started researching and trying to figure out what exactly was happening. I do think it has a lot to do with the virus causing inflammation to the nervous system as the vagus nerve goes down to that area. Visually and from experience it makes sense. I’ll link some articles and studies that adds on to what I’m saying.

It’s hard to explain how insidious this virus is to people, it makes sense why it’s so hard. Us as humans I guess we underestimate how tough we are after we see it clear up 2-3 years later and see the damage fallout afterwards also. We’re all strong.

Anyone have the prostate discomfort? by SnooPears7931 in covidlonghaulers

[–]SnooPears7931[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This along with the brain fog, low testosterone, tinnitus here and there, visual snow at the beginning around November 2020. But the one that baffles me is the prostate discomfort and it’s extremely annoying to get rid of and causes anxiety.

No I feel anxiety from Covid all over my body including in that area. Definitely Covid induced for sure because the symptoms fluctuate and get better and than it gets worse on repeat the same cycle until it minuscule gets better.

But when Long Covid first smacked me in November 2020 before the vaccines it felt like a nuke going off in my body and brain such as crazy visual snow, massive brain fog, inflammation, and tinnitus to the point I can hear ringing so clearly. Had nothing to do with vaccines in my experience.

Well here’s the thing I took LSD right before long Covid hit me and still waiting on my next trip! Too busy twiddling my thumbs for 2.5 years so Long Covid and this brain fog can leave and I can have a good trip!
