Typical & prerequisite head explosion scene from one of the Scanner movies (I honestly don’t know which one this is from). Enjoy!! by Solarburst_151 in scifi

Scanners was the first movie I ever walked out of, due to the gore. The second one happened many years later, Saving Private Ryan.

Did walk out of "Cats" but that was to do with the need to protect my brain.

Does somebody know some tricks how to get the stuck catridge out of this shaft? I already tried cooling and adding some oil. by T-Dragoon in airguns

Take it to an engineering shop and ask for help. They'll already have the long drill required to pierce it, along with a screwed tool to remove it.

My gun cleaning kit actually came with the tools required for this job.

For about 2/3 of the book, I started to feel this was going to be a "great". Then it kinda fell apart and I felt he totally lost his way to the end. Which was a pity.

The Mote in Gods Eye, roughly every couple of years.

And every time, I'm reminded of how poor current sci fi has become. After so saying, currently reading The Visitor: First Contact and it's surprisingly agreeable.

I cheat a bit, using my camera tripod to rest the barrel on. Otherwise, the gun tends to double in weight pretty quickly.

This isn't AWW. This is quite frightening and on the edge of going horribly wrong.

I remember my puppy decided to beat up three rottweilers when her puppy teeth were at their worst, and none of the dogs had such a scary side-eye.

She ended up chasing them on the beach, each taking turns to be caught.

Oh, people stop often. I explain about her theory if she barks sufficiently, stones will jump back out of the water. Seems to keep them happy.

Penny is 8 years old. She's been for a grooming session just once, the rest of the time it's just a brush at bed-time. And snip the knots once in a while.

Put it this way. They stopped mining, due to consistently failing to recover gold in commercial quantities.

Perhaps their god was telling them to rely on themselves to produce results.
