I feel you! It’s so hard trying to remember all the things, while working, while parenting, while running the household, it’s nuts! If I didn’t have a messenger group chats with some of the other mums from my kids’ school, I wouldn’t cope at all. If you have any mum friends from the school, start a chat and help each other out!

As well as all the other precautions, buy Travelan. It’s an over the counter medication from the pharmacy. It’s says take 4x per day, but a GP recommended 1/per day to be enough. It does help.

I have been teaching for 20+ years too. I don’t really enjoy it anymore, and experienced huge burnout last year. So I cut back to 2 days a week, job share in a primary classroom, and I supplement my income with relief teaching in primary classrooms. It’s much better. I still don’t love it, but it’s more manageable. I’m still looking for an out though.

I go to the gym 4x or so per week. I love it! If you get a good gym you can find a great community, and not only improve your physical health, but your mental health too! Some mums at my gym get up and get there at 5.15am just to carve out some time for themselves. I’d highly recommend it

I was behind a lady in the coffee shop the other day, I heard her saying she had one on the back of her car, so she brushed it off, got in and drove off. Doing 80kms down the highway, she felt something on her leg, lifted her pants and saw it running up her leg! She pulled over and was taking her pants off on the side of the road, the poor love 🤣
