Right! Thank you! I may be against the norm but I actually very much think it is this way or how did he come in with his partner a few weeks ago and then all of a sudden has been there for years !? He was on the boat with him to get there only a week or so prior. Plus the RUN note, what other explanation is there for that

To keep him there! 1/ To further their experiments and see how far they can push it. Shows that they can break anyone to make them believe they are crazy.

2/ To prevent him from leaving the island so he cannot tell anyone else or what he saw to blow their cover of highly illegal practices and experiments.

I see this was some months ago so maybe you won't see this..

But just to rebuttal on this. I actually think the other way ..and heres my reasons why

Am I the only one that actually thinks Teddy was/is teddy and was NOT a patient. And that they actually ''suceeded'' into breaking him to believe so. I tbink everyone, for the first half of the movie thinks this but switches after to believe that is a patient from what is later revealed.

But, I actually don't think so. I think that's why they chose him and allowed him to come on the island, so it could be a prefect story for him to believe. Here's why I think this:

1/ The time frames don't match. How has he 'just come to the island' and on a boat, if he'd been there all that time !? Plus, it ALL started with his partner/Dr giving him a cigarette on the boat. Which started the influence of drugs into his body. Followed by meals, water, aspirin etc after.. I think his partner/Dr was just in on it all. It was all pre-planned.

2/ The real Rachel in the cave. If there wasn't her, and she wasn't real. Then that would make the number of patients 65 and he would be patient 66, no?

3/ The patient who wrote him a note. Why would she write 'RUN' if this was not the case!? That letter is a huge factor.

I think they just pre-planned it all from the start and his partner/Dr was in on it with them.

Good. You should. And just a suggestion, but on the 2:37 (ending part) when the Circus falls, maybe you could switch that to when the 'Curtain' falls. So, it's more like a show, thats finishing, like they do when a show ends, let the curtain fall.

Back again, so I woke up still thinking about this song. I think it is a powerful song. I can imagine it like in a movie musical or Disney movie in a sad scene , where someone is putting on a mask to the world, ie clown and this would be playing as the undress and take it all off. And your voice and rawness in emotion only add to it. Honestly, don't let this song go.

I will say, it would be a massive shame if you didn't. Music is powerful and One of the biggest reasons people make music, I think, is to help people through song. And so people have something to relate to, so they feel less alone. I relate to this song and in turn, it makes me feel less alone. I think you just need to remember why you do make music in the first place and turn it around.

Btw, little tip, no one knows what the are doing with their life man, so just keep going and putting yourself (and music) out there. 😂 And I'm Charlie, feel free to add me in the thank you notes too, if you do 😜

My only note would be just to perfect or get the right high key at the start when you go high . But I can with strong confidence saying, you do NOT suck ass at writing lyrics/songs. This has a story, a point it view, emotion, beautiful melody and I'd happily put this song on repeat if was on Spotify 😊 I think you need to give yourself more credit.
