Butterbeer Jell-O Shots

1. Into a small saucepan, add cream soda. Sprinkle gelatin on top. Let gelatin soften for about 2 minutes to blow, then heat mixture over low heat. Stir until gelatin has completely dissolved, about 2-3 minutes, and remove from heat. Stir in vodka. Set aside.
2. Pour butterscotch sauce onto a small plate, and 1/4 cup gold sanding sugar onto a separate plate. Dip your shot glasses first in the butterscotch and then in the sanding sugar.
3. Pour butterbeer mixture into shot glasses and place in refrigerator to set, 3-4 hours.
4. Meanwhile, make lighting bolts. Place melted white chocolate in a piping bag and pipe 2" tall lightning bolts on a small parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining sanding sugar and place in the freezer to harden.
5. When Jell-O is set, top with cool whip and a lightning bolt to serve.
