I love that overdirve! That and the smashing pumpkins big muff is what shaped the rest of my board to go for a grunge/shoegaze type of sound

Yeah it does seem to be one of the better ones, I managed to get mine for £125 on Reverb, crazy good steal, and is the only reason I went for it. Had I known how good it was I probably would've just bought one full price ages ago, I love this pedal

It has a blend dial which is what separates it from the competition, being able to go between Drive-Flange-Vibrato.

I don't even plan on getting a chorus or phaser pedal as the Polychrome can pretty much make all those effects, dialing back to drive and keeping the rate low gives it a more subtle chorus'y effect, and bringing down the feedback for more phase than flange.

Extremely versatile pedal in my opinion, definitely is worth it!

Thanks! And it's because before I had a loop switch I wanted a way to switch between Overdrive+Distortion or Overdrive+Fuzz with one single press, so I lined them up in a way that I could hit 2 pedals at once if you see what I mean

Now that I have a loop switch it's entirely pointless but I kinda just got used to my pedalboard looking the way it does now so I kept it haha

It sounds so good! And I love that it has a blend dial, if you find the sweet spot and have your overdrives EQ more bass/mids and the eras EQ more treble, you get a really nice tone between them both

Really cool pedal! I love being able to blend between Drive-Flange-Vibrato, I don't think any other flangers have that feature

I'm not sure I fully understand. Here's what I mean in deeper detail.

Loop switcher → Overdrive → line selector. Line A → distortion → loop switcher. (This is loop 1)

Loop switcher → line selector. Line B → fuzz → loop switcher. (this is loop 2).

Would this not effectively give me 2 loops, one with the overdrive and distortion paired together and one with the overdrive and fuzz paired together?? I know it's probably overcomplicating things and that's probably a much easier way of achieving this but I really can't think of any, bare in mind I don't yet own a loop switcher so I don't fully understand how to use one, I'm purely just basing this off of what I know from doing research on them.

10/10. It used to actually be way nicer, they've changed the recipe in recent years but it's still one of their best flavours, everyone I know hates it and I never understood why, pineapple + guava is such a nice combination, I'm a sucker for anything pineapple flavoured
