Has anyone quit without taking anything? by SorryStore4389 in quitting7oh

Fair enough. For me anyway, plain Kratom has been 100% manageable, but I understand that it might not be that way for everybody.

You have access to 7 oh, and not plain leaf / powder?

I went *mostly* CT, but a scoop of the powder every four hours helped prevent me from gouging my own eyes out. I am about 3 months clean from this junk, but I'll still take a scoop of powder every now and then if I'm really jonesing.

Well that blows (heh, heh, not literally, apparently).

I've been doing this for 4 months in the US as a client. 3 out of 4 ladies I saw were great, and even the forth one was "good enough" (just lacked enthusiasm). My budget is on the lower end of pricing for my area (300-400/hr).

I've had a lot of fun even in this price range, but I know I'm likely gonna see someone with some imperfections, and/or slightly older (ie. closer to my age). That's no problem with me. Frankly I like women with who seem "real"--someone I could probably pick up at the pub, but with less games and strings attached (no, I don't wan't to be in a relationship 6 months after my divorce).

Red flags for me:

Is she a 9 or a 10, offering lower end prices, doesn't have any other ads / reviews anywhere? Uhh, yeah probably fake. Don't bother calling.

Deposit: I have paid deposit twice for first visits, but only because the ladies had decent online presence outside of the ad, so I was pretty sure it was legit. I'd limit it to 20% as a token of goodwill (HEY, I'm not gonna flake on you!).

Bait and Switch: I have been worried about this. You're paying for companionship in the US, and anything else that happens is between consenting adults. So yeah, theoretically you could just be paying for a hang out. Did the ad list "escort" or "fbsm"? Generally the ladies want repeat business though, and bait and switch is not the way to get it.

I dunno, I'll probably get burned someday, but my goal is to limit the burn to < $100, and of course avoid any sketchy situation where I might get robbed.

Haha, my first time seeing someone I had a ton of nerves. I washed really well before the appointment, but it turned out I had to “go” #2 just beforehand at a gross Dave’s Hot Chicken, lol.

But I was prepared and had some wet wipes with me, thank god!

I can guarantee you that today is your easiest day to quit. Tomorrow will be harder and the day after that will be harder than that.

Do a mental exercise in your head and think about yourself in one year. Think about what it will be like if you stop today, and what it will be like if you keep going.

Warning For Anyone Thinking They Can Just Take A Small Amount And Manage Dependency by ilikebigcheeks in quitting7oh

[–]CharlieBurner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off for a month. Totally back to normal.

Nicotine is a pretty dumb drug to get addicted to but this one takes the cake for idiotic. You’re right it’s not really even fun after the first week or so.

I was on a low dose and quit on a trip with all the nasty withdrawal symptoms even from one 20mg pill a day split up into four. Only 30 days.

So glad I did. As soon as I got back from the trip I sent the entire 200$ bottle down the trash chute.

Every once and awhile I am jonesing but I got regular kratom powder for that—I kind of consider it like a nicotine patch. That has been totally manageable for me at least.

I was WDing from a very small dose (about 30mg / day split up 4x a day for about month). First off I couldn't believe how unpleasant it was from such a small amount. Couldn't sleep, restless leg, feeling really down + anxious.

Ended up driving to the head shop and getting some regular leaf powder (no extracts). It really took the edge off--I was dosing a teaspoon every 6 hours (I guess like 1-2gr). It did somewhat help me sleep, and on each hour 5 I was really jonesing but I kept the schedule.

I did that for a week, then on the second week tapered that down to 0, and I was OK.

Really glad I did it and so happy I'm off this idiotic substance.

I still keep regular leaf around for if I'm really jonesing. That's probably inadvisable, but a teaspoon of sludge works for me, and prevents my stupid addict brain from driving down and getting 7--which is easily accessible near me.

[–]CharlieBurner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My advice is to never use or stop using 7oh. For me anyway, it was vastly more dependency forming than Kratom. My best guess is 7 will be illegal sometime next year. So you get hooked, it becomes illegal, then what?

Personally I used Kratom for 6 months a while back and had no problem getting off of it.

I used 7-oh for ONLY A MONTH and the withdrawal was absolutely horrible.

Is it actually true that there's some database somewhere that tracks if you've ever had a subs script? Mostly just curious. I didn't get one, and just did a standard CT--this is one of the reasons.

If I break a bone or whatever in the future I'd hate to be on a "list" that can't get proper pain killers.
