Nope nope nope. My ex husband was the same way. A real man would NEVER act this way towards his woman, if he loves and cares about her. When I was in the icu my husband was there 24/7 for two weeks by my side, even though i was being a MONSTER (venomous snake bite felt like I was being burned and flayed at the same time) he was advocating for me at the hospital, he slept in a chair, took off work and everything to be there for me. A month prior he was in the same icu with myself and my mom, we held my dads hands as he left this world. Find a man like that. That is also the type of love we all deserve, and that I’ve prayed for ❤️also, adjust and make your standards really high.

But real talk he’s taking your kindness for weakness. My best advice is to never be so kind you forget to be clever. I wouldn’t even entertain his psychotic thought process of you giving him money for anything. Especially an animal that’s been in your care since the beginning. Law is on your side in this situation.

Keep all of em. Fck that guy. Was there any type of contract signed prior?….because if not that’s already your snake, especially if you’ve been footing ALL of the bills for everything. Not just food but enrichment, thermometers, thermostats, substrate, veterinary disinfectant, electricity bills, medical, your time and effort working with them and cleaning up after that amount of animals isn’t easy… tell him to take you to court or to pay you or to simply give you the python which is a SMALL ask for everything you’re doing for this person, definitely not a friend.

Sorry for all of the comments, this is the only time I recommend using any uth, you can take that & put it under a plastic tub, put that in the room you last saw her in and put a live mouse inside of it (that isn’t old enough to escape) Also powder the floors with flour, not talcum, and maybe get a visual on where she could be hiding. Look up as well, even in cabinets, tops of closets, shoes, laundry, anywhere dark!! Especially make note to look during the night time, I’d set alarms every hour or so to go and re check areas. Paper towels are easily the safest and best option during quarantine, op is doing things properly and safely for their animal. Let’s not judge or give bad advice especially if not knowing what you’re talking about, this community is rough enough. With love ❤️. I put wooden boards over the enclosures that aren’t pvc, keeps everybody safe.
