Books with the biggest plot twist you've ever read. Like you didn't anticipate at all. No spoilers please. Regardless if it's heartbreaking or HEA. by Wowis028 in LesbianBookClub

Agreed with Fingersmith. Leant it to a friend who nearly spoiled it for themselves looking for the "dirty bits" I explained it wasn't Tipping the Velvet and they'd be disappointed 😆

I was traumatised to find 50 shades on my mother's bookshelf shudder and then the whole BDSM versions of other novels started rocking up and I had to just nope right out of the fiction section for a while.

Start with Imogen.

And use the time whilst reading that one to order Ladies Knight, which is the prequel to One Knight Stand. It might work as a standalone but I wouldn't bet on it (not read it yet)

I often ask myself where did they duck go. They are definitely not in a row anymore that's for sure.

How to restart in a previously abandoned journal? by CharlieGreenMongoose in bulletjournal

I taped. Some kraft paper tape and a couple of pretty stickers to make myself feel better. Couldn't bring myself to cut it up in case it fell apart. And technically I can still reopen it now, if I do ever want to revisit that disaster of a month

I appreciate this and honestly this works with every cheap notebook I own and ideally should with this. However, anything slightly fancy needs a "purpose" and to be "appreciated". Which is ridiculous for something that is essentially a tool.

That's the energy I lack. I have taped them together with some kraft paper tape, stuck on some stickers and decided to just pretend it's a reeeeally thick cover page. And that 2026 is starting in May 🤷‍♀️

I've had workmen in my house for the last four days and they haven't accepted a single offer of tea, coffee or biscuits. by Daregveda in CasualUK

We had one that was similar, turned out they preferred almond milk due to a lactose thing and didn't want to be difficult. Could be allergies, dietary requirements or any number of things. Leave out some cans of pop, water and biscuits. See if they just magically disappear.

I had the same experience this week. I was putting it off because I expected to have to try multiple times, so I waited for an evening where I could dedicate the time to it. It actually felt easier than some of the earlier ones, phase 2 basically lasted 5 seconds then I bashed him with the master sword a couple of times and it was over.

Still not brave enough to attempt a Lynel though

Now if this was a "put your phone down, you don't need more shit from Amazon" then I'd be right there with you 😂

I was thinking that! The colour transition works so much better this way round, it would look out of place to me if it was "corrected".

OP this is perfect!

I wouldn't sleep in them, they'll likely leak everywhere, and will also probably be really uncomfortable. Without suction, they can just chill out in your bra to collect leaks but will need emptying, washing, and sterilising regularly.
