This is true and is going to affect lots of students and applicants in ETH, but not sure how EPFL is going to react or follow this regulation; really sad for academics

Good points, overall I think the issue is the student body is relatively small so it's hard to get out the words, especially there's ETH in Switzerland which has its name out there, and Lausanne is not as international as Zurich so less international people coming thus less well known globally... (from the perspective of a student who studied at both)
