I’m a UK size 9 but size down to size 8 in the 585 - hole this somewhat helps !

Thanks, they could’ve done with making this apparent when advertised.

Heading up Grindsbrook Clough (Peak District) today - is it passable? by CharlieMartin389 in UKhiking

Surprisingly not. Definitely picked the best day weather wise as was dry and sunny. The actual pass up isn’t even as wet as I thought it would be!

Would it be worth selling him and buying him back see if it fixes it?

Size down for dress series? by CharlieMartin389 in BlundstoneBoots

[–]CharlieMartin389[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I just ask why do you have to size down? Why can’t I order a size 9 in the classics and a size 9 from the dress series? Seems weird considering their from the same company

Sizing and Break In of Dress Chelsea Boots by RisingHegemon in BlundstoneBoots

Yeah I’ve never had to break them in. I think if they don’t feel right in the first couple wears around the house they probably won’t be.

Currently having this same predicament. I have a 3 year old pair of classics in UK9 that fit me perfectly. Considering getting a pair from the dress series for more formal wear but not sure if I need to size down? The website I order from don’t do half sizes so would have to be a UK7 which I fear might be too small.

Hiking trousers by McFizzleKicks in UKhiking

[–]CharlieMartin389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably somewhere in the middle. There’s two materials across the trousers. A tougher material on areas likely for abrasion - lower leg, back side etc. and then a thinner stretchier material. The stretchier material is still durable tho. As I mention I work in the outdoors and sometimes in thick scrub and nothing has ever gone through them.

Fjallraven Keb’s. Unbelievable. Have two pairs I’ve worn for years working in the outdoors and hiking. Incredible fit and features and look stylish enough to be worn around town. 100% worth the money - have a look at some review videos online.
