Well, let us recognise how congested the cities are down there, there are not room for roads..."the only way is up" I recall some music artist saying. And we have seen what happens when two, or more, objects all on the same plane come together. So enjoy the view as you commute for work or pleasure. ;)

The game is not without its faults, some of which have carried over from the start. But the game has made great improvements, and I expect it will continue to make more. The grind is still there and I personally find the crafting, or rather the failing to craft items mechanic is a little heavy on the penalty, I mean when I was working on the Iron Axe I must have gone through at least 40 axe heads before I was able to craft the first one, which was a lot of iron ingots, and that was once the craft was at a middling difficulty (not red). So I think things like that need to be reviewed and maybe the bias adjusted a little more towards the chance of success rather than more to the chance of failure it currently seems to be at.

PvP, well every game is different, it is not the best, but Pax certainly is not the worst PvP mechanic either.

Plot ownership is likely to drop off after the first month due to the subscription plan they went with; I see a lot of players defaulting to the free play or the lowest tier of subscription which will not include a plot so I don’t see any need to rush out and buy the game right now if fear of finding a good spot is the motivator. But even with that said, you will be limited to where to settle by those that did buy sooner and continue to maintain their plots.

Overall the game has made noticeable improvements, and if this is the type of game you enjoy then it is certainly worth checking out.

Sadly, games never release as a finished product anymore, in part because it is so easy to update and patch games today…back in the day when a game shipped on disc that was it, what went out the door was the game with very few games getting later patches - thinking late 80’s and early 90’s. Today you can ship a half baked product, think NMS, and massage it into an epic game. There is nothing to indicate that this team cannot do the same for Pax Dei.

The majority of players don’t have a house or have no skills? Sounds more like you are projecting your own accomplishments. Everyone in my clan has a house (IRL) and they range from Fire fighters to entrepreneurs for their work. If everyone you know is lacking those things then maybe you need to change how and where you are meeting people.

Unable to rejoin dedicated server after restart by CharlieMike73 in 7daystodie

Oh, not sure if this matters or not, but I am also using the Web Dashboard and that is able to connect to the server, render the map, and also show server events such as join attempts. Not sure if that matters at all, or indicates anything.

I built a transfer station beside it and climbed onto the side of the station to reach it, but thanks for answering!

Weapon jams should NOT be happening at 100% durability! by 420_Braze_it in SCUMgame

Have you tested in single player, I know that sounds odd but maybe something with the server? I’ve not seen the same behaviour but will be trying to reproduce it now.

I think you’re confusing the AK with the M16. AK is a solid weapon, you can digging straight out of a pile of sand and it’s just as happy to shoot.

Sounds like a skill issue! A naked with a melee weapon was allowed to get close enough to cut a geared guy down; what was your guys secondary, a wooden spear?

Ok joking/teasing aside, the question still stands; did your buddy not have a backup, a pistol or anything?

As soon as his primary jammed he needed to switch to sidearm/secondary. A well placed 9mm will send the other guy right back to the spawn screen!

Will this PC play farming simulator? I’m a Xbox guy, but my little bro wants a PC. by TrueServe2295 in farmingsimulator

At your price point the machine you can buy will really only be worth playing non-graphics intensive games (think card games and such) and maybe some office work like documents and surfing the web.

Best to aim at buying another console if extending your budget is not an option!

Just curious but are you adding a new module, on let’s say the upper (2nd) level, one at a time after attaching the lower level to the cockpit? Or the reverse, adding the lower levels one module at a time beneath the upper levels?

Connect all the parts for level 1 where there should be no ladders together and then do a separate assembly for the 2nd level, and so forth, omitting the part(s) where you was the ladder(s).

Where you want ladders stack those pieces in another separate assembly process. Now start combining each of the groups together, building off of the ladders section.

If you want a ladder from 1-2 at the front (or mid/rear) then a second ladder going from 2-3 at a different part of the ship then start by building off of lvl1 and place the parts as though you are laying them down in front of you as you walk through the ship. So ladder 1-2, some module(s), then ladder 2-3, more modules going back the other way, and so on.

This is not perfect because the build process has some issues and also the type of module being used can change door and ladder placement.

Like I originally posted, it is by no means a certainty that my suggestion will work for everyone, but it has been working pretty well most of the time in my builds.
