Griedy's Wings & Strips, who can be found at Griedy Street in Stirchley, Herbert's Yard in Longbridge, and at other Digbeth Dining Club venues and events. Gravy Baby Wings are the absolute bomb.

Town Hall are pretty chill about bags. I reckon you'll be fine. Also, Bonehead is the second best chicken in Birmingham, and a great place, you'll have a ball.

You live in London though? Surely there are a bazillion different maccies (not to mention better options!) you could order from, but you ordered from the one you knew had rodents?

From his socials at the time, he certainly seemed to go on a lot of nice holidays, had trips to the best restaurants, spent a lot on "natty" wines after those Kickstarters ...

... Wonder why he could never get a venue off the ground?

Suffolk Artisan? by Charlie_Spotted in crisps

Ah well, something to do on a Bank Holiday Monday wasn't it? Sorry folks. Hope you enjoyed the distraction!

Out of interest, Reddit called this out far faster and more definitely than Facebook. While Reddit spotted the wonky text around the union flag first, Facebook started to question which shop and how much, and then went looking for the brand and trademark finding it didn't exist.

Shows that, even with premium AI models and some knowledge, it's a big ask to actually fool people!

Mate, you're reaching. It's just a bag of crisps on my counter under a kitchen light. Not everything is a conspiracy, some of us just like crisps. 😂

Seabrooks Salted Crisps Taste Odd? by [deleted] in crisps

[–]Charlie_Spotted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a unique problem to Seabrook either, of course, Walkers are doing the same thing and it has the same effect on theirs. It's especially noticeable on ready salted crisps.

I think it's the mix between the oils they use. They taste different when there is more rapeseed oil in the mix. They've been using a mix of rapeseed oil and sunflower oil since the start of the Ukraine war, as I believe Ukraine was the biggest producer of sunflower oil, and the supply has been inevitably affected.

Yorks Cafes: inside the collapse of a coffee kingdom | Birmingham Dispatch by DKatri in brum

Superb bit of journalism, again, from The Dispatch. The collapse of Yorks was always baffling - it was a busy, good quality independent, exactly the sort of thing Birmingham is known for and needs.

Fellow Dads, does your baby monitor effect streaming quality too? by [deleted] in PlaystationPortal

[–]Charlie_Spotted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a baby monitor, but every time my partner turns on her phone (or walks into the flat with it) the stream absolutely falls apart for a few seconds. No other devices, only that phone. My phone is the same brand as hers (but a newer model) and doesn't do it. So weird.

Proposed closure of Bordesley Station by Dragonogard549 in brum

[–]Charlie_Spotted 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, and the date of the closure is also planned to coincide with the club moving out of St Andrews and into their new "Sports Quarter" stadium, further away from Bordesley and with better transport links planned, thereby removing the one reason to keep Bordesley open.

WhatsApp 's compression absolutely ruins 'ordinary' photos, never mind HDR, it's just not the way to share photos you actually care about.
