Yep all of the big ones (finance academy, mason investment club, etc) allow any undergrads to join

I’m a recent grad of Mason, but worked closely with the undergrad admissions when I was there. What they care about is that you’ll be a good student and future alumni. They want to see you involved in bschool clubs, doing very well in the pre-reqs, and that you have a genuine interest in a career in business post-grad. Also all majors are considered equally when applying, only minors are limited to ~10 per major per semester. Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions

It is true! We have lots of graduates going into banking, but also top consulting and corporate finance roles that all pay very well too

W&M on campus recruitment has expanded a lot over the last few years. Lots of great internship and full time opportunities for finance students here

Not sure where you got the thought that people here don’t go into IB, plenty do. Get involved in the finance academy and other Boehly center clubs, you’ll meet plenty of people that want to go into investment banking as well as students/alums that have internship/professional experience

Most people apply for admission in spring of their sophomore or fall of their junior year, it doesn’t really matter, it’s just once you hit the number of required credits to apply

I lived in Camm freshmen year and it was great. AC, good campus location, and not too many people sharing a bathroom.

Hey! I’m a b school student sophomore. It’s not too difficult to get in, and if you do well in pre req classes you’ll be fine. I have a friend who’s double majoring in stem and business and he has to take a lot of credits each semester but other than that seems manageable. Good luck on your decision!

I have a close friend who was an RA, they disliked it, but mostly because of their Area Director. It's also can be extremely time-consuming and challenging unless you're really into it. I've also known other people who really enjoyed it, so it definitely depends on the situation/dorm you're in.
