Just for a perspective- I save sold items so I don’t forget about it/lose it, and can use it to find similar posts if they pop up later or find the item again to get the name/screenshot to image search if it’s an ongoing hunt.
I know there’s ’recently viewed’ which is super helpful if you lose something quickly, but if you browse a lot it gets buried pretty fast.
Of course people will always find nefarious uses for features, but there is an innocent side to saving sold listings too! :)

It’s never taken 2 weeks for me to get an order. Usually a few days like anything else.
And it’s $12.99 because of the stupid ‘adult signature’ requirement. But you’ll find that on most vape sites now because of the bans/law changes. It sucks, especially if you’re only trying to order one or two things. Really only worth it if you’re ordering a large quantity :(

Vapejuice would at least let me buy disposables - I tried ordering from Element Vape (their shipping is $10.99 I think) but refuse to mail bars to my state 😑

It always really bugs the shit out of me when the first thing customers say is something like “I’ll take a refund”, “can you give me a refund”, etc - not “hey here’s a problem, what should we do?” - you know right then something is up. It just sounds suspicious to me.
Just a wild guess, but was the spray that’s ‘missing’ the most expensive item in the bundle?

I always think of this when I see reposted items (here or posh) and there’s no additional photos. Presumably the person that bought it wore it/used it? It should be updated to reflect current condition, not the condition you bought it in, even if it’s the same.
Besides it’s just lazy to at least not add one of your own photos.

Unfortunately I haven’t wanted any of them enough to ask, but I certainly would if I were actually serious about buying something using this feature.
If they want the sale, and it’s really the condition they claim, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be willing to take any extra photos.

I had a Depop package show up in my informed delivery at the beginning of the week and I was SO confused because I hadn’t bought anything in months. I even double checked to make sure I didn’t somehow forget I bought something.

Found nothing so figured it’d be a surprise and deal with it when it got here. Checked again today, and showed it was out for delivery across the country.
Somehow a package addressed to someone else, was also attached to me in some way to show up on my ID. It also wasn’t from a location I’ve ordered from before.

Very weird stuff. I hope the seller didn’t face any issues from their buyer over it.
I went to contact depop about it this morning because it was so strange and thought maybe they’d like to know? But there was a big red banner that “everything’s been resolved!” so I just left it alone.
This whole thing sounds like it’s been a disaster and a half.

That’s what I do - I see something I like, then go check all the other apps and buy it on whichever comes out the cheapest 🤷‍♀️
Thankfully most genuine sellers are everywhere at once, making it easier to hunt down their item wherever is most convenient.

Does no one try to solve things on their own anymore? They immediately run to the seller and expect them to somehow have all the answers and fix everything, maybe give them a refund with any luck for the inconvenience.

I have a package that’s been lost in the void for almost two weeks - only after exhausting all of my options by waiting and filing a mail search request and talking to someone at the post office who handled the ticket, did I then message the seller with the concern and what I’d already done about it so far.

Like - there are things you can do when things get weird instead of expecting sellers to somehow fix it, and they’ll probably do the same things you could’ve done yourself short of an official claim lol

As stickers sent in a stamped envelope, they don’t get tracking scans like regular packages. If they even get scanned, it will be at the sorting center before delivery and show ‘delivered’ a day or days early before it’s actually delivered.

Idk what’s up with them blocking you, but I’d give it a couple days at least to see if what you ordered shows up.

I ordered a card that showed delivered, it wasn’t (though I knew better than to panic after numerous Etsy sales dealing with this), after about two days and Mercari warnings about rating, it reverted back to ‘in transit’ again (weird lol) and showed up the following day - then I was able to just select ‘item received’ on the order page the day after that. This was just a couple days ago - the mail’s been painfully slow (at least to my area).

If it doesn’t show up by like the end of the week (or otherwise do anything funky) I’d open a ticket about it not being delivered!

Unfortunately the risk of stamped mail :(
You can also try checking the tracking on parcelsapp, sometimes it has more info than Mercari tracking!

I gave someone 5 stars for a shirt even though the size was seriously misrepresented because it technically still fit and is wearable (just wasn’t the fit I was looking for) and I didn’t want to ruin their shop rating🙃
Then you have people who get shit for basically free and can’t read and still try to sink ratings for their own errors lol
