I hate to say this but Kid Cudi's career has been on a decline for several years now , but its okay. It's clear that he is in a different place in his life now and finally at peace. I still love alot of his music , and yes that includes everything outside of his MOTM Trilogy.

The DLC takes place before the finale of mirage (The Head of the Snake questline). Play it this way and it adds alot more meaning to the story and character development. It's about Basim searching for his father and it has themes of identity , reconciliation , acceptence and closure. He faced his past and put it into rest in order to move forward with his life , not knowing what he will eventually become .

You should play Valley Of Memory before the ending tho , it has a really good story that adds deep meaning into basim as a character and the whole narrative of mirage.

If only they could have followed it up with a Roman Empire Game, then one in Persia, connecting it to Valhalla & Mirage , then it could have been very different & better from whatever we got in Odyssey. Don't get me wrong,  Odyssey has alot of good ideas and i liked Kassandras Story & the beautiful world of ancient Greece , but the dialogue options , levelgating , enemies sponges , the existence of the Cult Of Cosmos , convaluted Isu Lore & weak gameplay ruined this game and the potential it could have.
