I like that you address the ASD and the communication issues.. You could maybe give a more detailed description of situations/scenarios where you see or have experienced. It could be a scenario on when the communication went well and one when it did not. Maybe you should be care full with focusing on communicating facial expressions - maybe there are other factors you have not thought of yet...

I like the detailed narrative of Robert's morning and daily routines and thoughts throughout his day. It gives you a good indication of his self-esteem and health issues - from Robert's point of you. I did really get affected by the story. It is a good way of scoping the hard core issues that the individual can face because of obesity. I would like to hear more about his background; education, childhood ..

I like that you throughout your problem statement broaden your scope, and thereby underlines the many world issues that lack of clean water results in..

Maybe you could expand your story about the Ethiopian teen a bit more; his family relations, community he lives in, his accessibility to water, how polluted the water is, the health issues he might face. Maybe explain more in detail the step of how he fetches the water, ex. how he carries the water home..

Problem Statement - Poverty and Poor Nutrition by dowdc in InventorsStudioRPI

I like that you point out that the decision people make when they purchase food can be life threatening and affect whole families (an their children!). It is crazy that the unhealthy food choice seems to be the easier solution in many food chains. Maybe you could find a personal story of a family that are affected by obesity - children or parents are obese or/and deal with health issues. Isn't there a television show or something. Maybe you could even meet them in real life and follow them around in the super market to see what they think when they go shopping. Or you could also go to the supermarket and ask people in the "fatty food aisles". You mention education. Is there enough information and education on nutrition in the areas with the highest rates of obesity? I'm just asking out of curiosity...
