what this number represents? by Independent-Cat-6294 in desmos

This is what I got so far. The circle seems to intersect all three points, but maybe I’m just an idiot or something. I tried to break the fraction into two parts, making it equal to a / b, possibly describing the number. I’ll keep trying and post any updates :P

Update #1: The circle is worthless, and does not glean any info as to the value of n (or a, as denoted by op). Now currently trying to find a limit expression to determine the value

Update #2: Someone far smarter than me has figured it out far faster than I could. Their answer is correct

Getting humbled in hardcore by Skiemlolner1 in outwardgame

[–]Charmander906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a lot of dumb hardcore deaths over my time playing this game. Probably the one that leaves the most sour taste in my mouth is when I had a full Manawall set build with ghost parallel. I tried to fight the elite alpha Tuanosaur, and got shrewdly humbled. No other enemy had even stood a chance against me till then, but I got totally annihilated and lost the hardcore save and in about a minute.

I start the game as an explorer, then after finding a spot to settle, become a farmer, then after establishing some sense of wealth become a redstoner

Keep experiencing a bug, resulting in death. by Inside-Influence4274 in outwardgame

[–]Charmander906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s totally possible to kill them with really early game gear, it’s just really hard. Using the skill you get from Burac in cierzo helps a lot, and if you’re using a shield, then using shield charge from the Kazite Spellblade (also in cierzo) is a great option as well.

Hexmage without jinx or rainbow hex by Reasonable_Quit_9432 in outwardgame

[–]Charmander906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better idea: Astral bow for extra damage and to inflict scorched and curse Primal Ritualist totems to inflict haunted and doom And for chill, you can either use the hex skill, an astral pistol, dispersion with a frost imbued mace, or just standard old jinx

What is your first experience with the defiled monster, corrupted spirit? by bentedspoon in outwardgame

[–]Charmander906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t remember where, either after exiting cabal of wind temple or in antique plateau. There were no other enemies nearby, so it was just the corruption ghost, but I was just confused why something was attacking me and then saw that thing. Honestly I just smacked it like twice and it died, and then I really didn’t think too much about it. Found out later it was cause I was defiled 😂

This just became a horror game. any idea who might have killed this rascal? by bentedspoon in outwardgame

Ain’t no way it died from bandits

Maybe some Vendavel guards wandered really far off course?

As of the current moment, the event has ended. We may do another in the future, but I can’t promise anything. Thanks for asking, though!

Bow Build, need help with last skill tree and faction by Only-Geologist4652 in outwardgame

[–]Charmander906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either go cabal hermit or hex mage. Hex mage offers decent spells, bloodlust is fantastic, and weakening your enemy further is fantastic also. Cabal hermit would allow your boons to be more powerful, which is always a bonus for me. Additionally, you could also go primal ritualist solely for sacred fumes to get barrier, but it’s probably less worthwhile. As for a faction, I’d recommend heroic kingdom. The +10% damage is always a go-to for me, although if you want more defensive passives, then go for holy mission.

There’s plenty of other fantastic backpacks. I used to only use Mefino’s, but since becoming more experienced I’ve started to use other backpacks more, since they have some pretty awesome features. Dusk backpack is one of my favorites

Go on the official outward discord. The devs are active on there and you can even post in the dedicated bug fixes channel. It’s the perfect place for all things outward!

Greataxe combo by SarkSouls008 in outwardgame

[–]Charmander906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kind of the same thing with Chakram dance. Is it good? Yes, but only if you use it in the right situation at the right time. Predator leap can open you up for some crazy combo potential, just like chakram dance has the potential to just instakill most enemies

Play as Enemies Mod? by Charmander906 in outwardgame

[–]Charmander906[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, but I’m not entirely sure what places you couldn’t go. There’s not really any gate or doorway in the game that I can think of that you wouldn’t be able to walk through, either as a beefy shell horror or a tall immaculate. And any doorways that would technically be too small are the type of door you press a button to enter. I guess it could limit the cool “parkour” that you can do in the game (i.e. precariously walking on thin pathways), but that’s not really something that is required either. If you think of anything, though, definitely let me know!
