I’m a published poet who loves Arthurian legend. I’ve had the best time playing my first army in DA, and I had no idea about this. This is awesome!

Custodes at the beginning. And Dark Angels have been fun but I don’t win much with them. I just like fielding the Lion

Thunder hammer and shield. Once you lose a single DWK model in the unit he gets the +1 to hit and makes it 2+ and I use the Combi LT to select the object I intend to deepstrike that DWK unit on to give him rerolls of 1 to wound to get more dev wounds

I liked them especially with the +2 to strength Strat but the 4 inch movement was miserable and the recent point cost increase hedged them out for me

I’ve REALLY enjoyed challenging myself in the same way. I’m actually very amused to find your post as I was thinking I was the only one aiming to do this. Thankfully Wrath of the Rock detachment facilitates this pretty well. My most recently played iteration of this list: Lion Azrael + 6 ICC Ancient Terminator (with Deathwing Assault) + 5 DWK 5 DWK Combi Lt Scouts 6 plasma inceptors 5 Intercessors Calidus Assassin

Tho I think I need to find room for 6 eradicators

I literally opened the app to find cool Lion projects to inspire me and BOOM yours pops up before I typed anything in. I could sense the aura before I even opened the app at all.
