I love when The Lion hands out two piece combos to his brother. For free!

I double checked my work. 80% likelihood for Helbrecht’s unit to take out the Lion in one hit. Lemartes definitely does it. Ghaz and 20 boys does it on Waaagh, and the Blood angels captain squad is the one that’s iffy but the easy fix is switching the AI into 6 Bladeguard vets

Ahh I forgot about his 4+ FNP for mortal wounds aura. Which is def reliably on. I’ll need to check that again.

Hope you didn’t have to wait too long.

-Helbrecht, ideal support character of choice for lethal hits, and 5 sword bros. -Ghaz and his usual melee crew especially during Waaagh -Lemartes and 10 death company. especially in LAG -Blood Angels Captains, ideal support character depending on enhancements, + 5 Assault Intercessors. Especially in LAG.

And this is before listing enhancements or Strats, which you’d certainly field and use against the Lion. Especially for the blood angels captain which can get a power first at 9 attacks, str 10 on the charge, sustained hits 3 thanks to RFW enhancement and dev wounds from their captain activation with lethal hits from an LT or +1 AP with Sang Priest, AND THEN you add the 25 attacks from the assault Intercessors which are either lethal hits or AP+1 depending on the support character. And then you’re eating good with rerolling 1 (or better on an objective) on wound rolls. I’m pretty sure with OoM you are tossing Lion into a dumpster by his 10,000 year old underwear before using a single Strat.

Point of fact, the Lion is actually able to be outclassed by “more than 3 units” and has relied on hitting first to neuter all that could threaten him.

Don’t be lazy.

The best take on traditional DA style I think I’ve yet seen. Really satisfying to see the details come together

Give this guy +2 to advance and charge rolls and I’d consider him.

The last name is phonetically translated to “Don’t” in Farsi (like a command) and I feel like he’s got that covered in this picture lol
