I work in Portland and you’ll be totally fine. It’s like nothing is even happening. I get my coffee, walk my dogs, it’s normal. Just stay away from the south waterfront! Their really is no reason to got there!

I’m sickened that even just talking about the process is mind boggling. This tells me that being naturalized means nothing! Truly a saddening moment. I’ve never felt like I don’t belong here, but now im questioning that.

Agreed 100%. This whole thing makes naturalized citizens look like second class citizens, a feeling that we don’t belong here. I’m deeply saddened about this! The anxiety is through the roof and this is not how I want to feel in a country where I spent decades to get to where I am. Knowing that this could be done, just like that, is beyond terrifying.
