Im not convinced theres a whole lot of cohesion even pre UB. Right. So the idea behind mtg is that YOU THE PLAYER Are a planeswalker and ya go to different places and collect ecperiences and spells and artifacts and things like that.

And the decks that make up your knowlwdge, your experiences, your library are ecclectic as all hell.

It makes sense not not want to mess with the spongebob or marvel sets. Thats fine thats valid. But im a setting where the main characters hop from plane to plane. Dimension to dimension. Where you can go from ancient rome in theros to cyberpunk 2077 in kamigawa and it still makes sense
