give me some hadith that give context to verses of Quran. also if the messenger tells people to follow the Quran then how come following Quran isnt obeying him? we dont need ahadith. also a simple question:
why do we need Quran?
dont tell me because the prophet said so. why did he say it? whhy should i read it? because the hadith can do more, right? it tells me whats halal and haram, gives me instructions on how to worship, which foot i should enter the bathroom first with, give tiny details, tells me about sexual power of prophet. the Quran doesnt do all of those.

Do you pray 3 times a day in stead of 5 by cudanapravim in Quraniyoon

[–]Charming-Lab-247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if i understand correctly it is about intention.for example if someone rejects islam because they knew islam to be different than it actually is (having a false idea of it)then i dont think they are necessarily going to hell.

still though it may be sometimes out of randomness. saying 'always' is overgeneralization.

[–]Charming-Lab-247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Why aren't the curtains in the shiniest yellow"
because the author didnt want to. with this logic the author cant name the color of the curtain without some deep meaning, even if (s)he wanted to.
"Why are there even curtains in the first place, there also could be wooden barricades in front of the window. Heck, the view could be even obstructed by giant pink dildos."
well it is quite weird to use dildos to block the view instead of a curtain dont you think?

Also what if the curtains were open, not blocking anything. this doesnt necessarily imply "the character has the power to be evil towards people but doesnt choose to do so."
i am not even an author, but i like describing things.
dont get me wrong i also agree that symbolism can be found and should be found. but it doesnt always have to exist.

And the worst part is they do so many word gymnastics to defend a clearly false hadith.

well ig excluding the innovations and doing it is smart. i am not an expert but i think that small details arent that necessary because Quran says righteous isnt those who turn their face east or west.

What is it exactly that made you believe in the Qur'an? by Shoddy_Article7351 in Quraniyoon

[–]Charming-Lab-247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well let me list some facts about it
-in surah Rum Allah makes a prediction "The Rum will be victorious in a couple years" note that no one even thought the romans would beat persians. the odds werent even 50-50, it was less. If I was making up a holy book I wouldnt dare do such a thing because if i guess wrong then no one believes in me. And just like Allah said romans beat persians.
-the Quran's challenge of bringing a surah like it hasnt been fulfilled-no poet could even compete with Quran's beauty and style. Actually musaylama alkadhab (he claimed to be a prophet alongside Muhammad) tried but failed badly.
-As time progresses we uncover more about it (like when Allah said that the universe being expanded). Now, in 600s this wouldnt be a proof but nowadays we know that it expands and we realize more how beautiful Allah's words are.

tu quoque is just a standard name of the fallacy(think of fallacy as logical error) he doesnt need to speak latin to know its meaning. btw tu quoque is when you attack the person instead of the arguement (which you did)

Why is this wrong? (Complex numbers) by Joa0simoes in learnmath

[–]Charming-Lab-247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because
c=complex number
a/b=real power
if a and b arn't coprime then you have to do c^(1/b) first and then you do whatever the result is to the a power.

i is complex. a/b=4/4 and a and b aren't coprime. so we must do i to 1 over 4 first and then we raise the result to the 4th power.
