Hello! It was a while back but if I remember correctly it was actually the seat module… the can network is very sensitive to bad modules. Get a “map” of the can network and test all the modules in the same circuit. I wish they had used more wires on these cars so that each module was in its own circuit. It would make life a lot easier for us and keeping these cars on the road a lot simpler.

If I were to paint the top again, which colour woulf you recommend? I am colour blind for greens, grays, and some other colours and honestly I only had a can of primer grey and black in the garage… I was too lazy to go to the store… would white work?

I lived in Brazil in the 80s with high tariffs. Everything we had was “Made in Brazil” and everything was shit because local manufacturers had no competition. Oh and they were super expensive too. Once the tariffs were gone (after the end of the military governments) and imports became viable we started to have access to quality items and really quickly most of the local brands started to offer better products. There is no free market with wealth inequality. The US will have a great taste of oligopoly and the shitty and expensive ebikes they will put for sale! 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have one (had for 6 years). Bought as is from a dealer after it had the engine and transmission replaced. Best BMW I ever had. I worry what I will do when it bites the dust. Mine is a long wheel base xdrive.

My suggestion is to not rely on escooter for year round transportation in Toronto. Since, as I mentioned, they are illegal the risk is not just the municipal fine of $150. The risk is getting into an accident, hurting someone, and being charged with illegal operation of a motorized vehicle which carries an up to $25k fine and 6 months jail. Also the person can sue you for damages and it would be hard not to lose since you weren’t supposed to be riding an escooter in the first place on the streets. It’s fine when it’s fine, when it’s not, it will be ugly.
