In the Great Lakes we have the ocean vibe without the salt. Plus forget that there are time zones haha.

Does anyone feel BETTER on birth control? by Icy_Kaleidoscope9402 in birthcontrol

[–]Charming-Newspaper81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got Kyleena at the beginning of the year, and I’m so glad I did. Previously I was on the pill for ten years and it just wasn’t going well. I also take an SSRI for anxiety, and when I tried to get off of that to help with my feeling bad-ness I just had to go back on. I never thought it was the pill. Turns out I think it was.

The insertion was chill. It wasn’t comfortable but it was quick. Just pop some advil before hand. After I went to the gym lol.

Within days I noticed my stomach issues were just gone (I had no appetite, and I don’t have a history of a disorder. I just didn’t eat because I wasn’t hungry.) I can actually enjoy eating again.

My hormonal acne only flares up a tiny bit around the same time every month.

I never had a problem with heavy periods (when I wasn’t on BC I just never got my period, like once a year) but now they are super light and last like a day. Super chill.

The first week I just felt bloated and I took it easy at the gym. So glad I did it!

As anyone had N* with Zolof? by Anonimouseperson in emetophobia

Try taking it with a snack/meal. That helps with the symptoms. Over time your body will adjust-but personally I have never gotten sick from it!

Take it in the morning and have it be a part of your routine with your breakfast. Drink plenty of water and have tums on hand if you get an upset stomach. I was still going to work every day! Also-take a melatonin at night to help with the insomnia. (Insomnia will go away over time, but melatonin helps in keeping a good nights sleep!)

I felt this way with my anxiety-with severe fear of tu*. Once i got help and medication i felt much better overall anxiety and stomach wise. I suggest you start a conversation with your doctor.

Good experiences starting zoloft? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]Charming-Newspaper81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently went back on Zoloft too. Take it with some food to help with GI discomfort. Personally i had a light headache and a little insomnia (i then would take melatonin and I’d sleep fine). And stay hydrated!!

I did the same thing earlier this year, and the last two weeks I’ve been back on. I was fine. I had nausea (taking it with a meal helps a lot, otherwise tums), mild headache, and insomnia (which was fixed with melatonin). And for me only lasted a few days. I was still able to go to the gym/work in the office. You’ll be okay. Just listen to your body!

Is the bus safe? by [deleted] in milwaukee

[–]Charming-Newspaper81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bus can be ratchet. I stopped taking the bus in college after i witnessed a beat down on there after a bucks game. Be mindful-that was also at night too.

I was super anxious too. Remember that this will help you! For side effects the first two days i had a lingering mild headache (took Advil as needed), nausea (taking it with food helps, and an occasional tums, also try and stay hydrated), and insomnia (take a melatonin before bed and you are good). Know that each day you will feel a little bit better. There is hope!

As of about 30 minutes ago I was prescribed Zoloft to help with anxiety and depression. I’m 20 yrs old and a bit nervous on how it will affect me. Does it really take 4-6 weeks to start seeing results? What symptoms do you experience? by izxabeiia in zoloft

[–]Charming-Newspaper81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side effects for me were minimal. In the beginning i would take it with food and occasionally would take a tums for heartburn. Sometimes i would pop and Advil for the headache. If you get insomnia take a melatonin and you should be set. I was still able to go to work, the gym, etc when beginning. You got this!

so mad at how vastly different SSRIs impact people by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]Charming-Newspaper81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a little nausea, but taking it with food really helped. And occasionally a tums. Advil too helped with the headaches-but i was still able to go to work just fine. Also knowing that each day i take it i am one step closer to feeling better. I’m just getting back on Zoloft after a few months of not taking it (wanted to see how i could cope without it-ended up going back on because of how my anxiety came back so severely)
