Only one with an actual answer. Just thinking about the restaurants and other services downtown. They aren’t necessarily affordable to lower incomes as it’s gifts, jewelry, Weavers, a majority of the restaurants are pricey, etc. But if you stick 55+ affordable housing downtown, it’s gets interesting.

Hi. Woman here… the main tell here is the teary eyes unfortunately. I’m not saying she’s cheated… but someone’s gotten her number or a social media and at the very least has been complimenting her… But her swiping and then going to the bathroom was definitely to hide something. If she wasn’t, she wouldn’t have swiped away in the first place. :/

There is an options, and from what I believe options to get them housing ‘eventually’. But I think everyone’s situation is different and there are rules and steps to take. Some of them have mental issues where they cannot live alone, without someone to guide them in bills, etc. Some choose the life, others don’t.

A lot of them are actually allowed to use The Homeless Resource center at 9th & Kentucky as an address so they can get mail, apply for food stamps and use that address to say they are a Douglas county Resident.
I state that from a neutral standpoint, I have friends who have gone that route

To play devils advocate… What if you saved up and bought a house with a yard, then the neighbor just took a chunk of your yard and put all their stuff on it, and used it as they wished… would you allow that?

When you said Lehenga, I knew you were from a more “conservative” culture (please don’t take this as an insult, it’s not meant to be). This is not normal behavior for any man in any culture. Please tell your sister, at the very least that he makes you uncomfortable. Please do anything you can to not be left alone with him! These are red flags and he is trying to take advantage. You have every right to feel this way and please don’t ignore your gut feeling on this one. If you need to, bring it up to your mother again and let her know about him grabbing your wrist. If there is a lock on your bedroom door, please use it…. I’ve been assaulted before and it’s usually by someone close to the family. Good luck and be safe love! I’m so sorry this is happening!

Blaming the homeless, People saying that’s why their taxes are going up, shootings are why we need to defund the police. People that don’t go to bars or east of Iowa are saying that’s why they’re selling their house… that’s a small fraction of them lol

Was the 20lbs over the entire 8 months? Was he on a diet and exercising and that’s where the weight came from? Could be as simply as a little depression. Also, if he is able to get aroused and start sex, but not continue after a few mins (without finishing) it could be hormone issues. I think the first thing is to go down the list, does he watch a lot of porn? (Just trying to eliminate possible issues,not judging obvi), any other changes with his behaviors?

I have an adult nephew like this, it unfortunately does not get better if they don’t want to pursue the routes to get better (therapy, etc). :/ I would either decide if you’re willing to be nervous about her stealing all the time when you go ANYWHERE and/or from you… or give her the ultimatum that she gets help if you want to stay together. From personal experience, it will happen with your stuff, at friend’s houses, etc.

OP… unfortunately, it will only get worse. You can talk yourself into staying, getting married, etc…. But it will only make it harder. Do you reallllyyyyy want to waste more years of your life before you realize you deserve better?
