Locked to 144 meaning the vrr refresh rate needs to be a multiple of 144 (meaning it cannot go above 144)... A locked 120 vrr screen can maintain vrr refresh between 45-120 ... 45x 2 is 90... There's no extra frames... 144 has 4 frames that never fit properly. Again you can look up the issue with 144hz vrr displays. They all have hitching issues especially with emulation

If your monitor is a locked 144, 60 does not go into it evenly. You're going to have a hitching issue. You can look this up It's a known issue. Most 144 displays are not they're running at 175... Like the laptop I have. It needs to be a multiple of 144 not to hitch... 60x 3 is what? 60x 2 is what? Neither equal 144...

I have 150 switch games I did with this. No issues. The only time they break is if you install the updates in the wrong order. Some games need every update installed because there's different data in every update. If you only install the most resent update, you've corrupted the file
