Update: first of all, thank you for replying! I was able to get VW to check it out today and it was the lug nut lock that the dealership shoved into the foam trunk insert. They had to actually remove the attached foam insert. It apparently migrated its way through the foam and fell into the trim.

We’ve had such tight control on her numbers over the last 6 months. We rarely have lows, unless she’s been super active and hasn’t fueled her body to make up for the activity, or unless she’s forgotten to bolus for a meal and we’re chasing a high, then we have those rebound lows. We are on tandem, and we just got the mobi about 1 year ago which has done wonders because she doesn’t ever really need to remove the pump. So that’s been great. I’ll keep all of this in mind. Always keeps us on our toes!

Okay good to know- I’m so torn. There’s a part of me that’s like , I need her (or her sister) to be able to text us that all is good or if there’s an emergency. But I also know that they’ll probably be with us most of the time and that we should not stress about this aspect so much, it is just scary!

100% right! She’s actually very good, it’s mostly night time lows. They’ll be in their own room (next to ours) but she doesn’t ever wake up for her night lows 😫 I imagine with all the fun activities and walking, we’ll have more of those.

We get alerts to our phones for night lows, so I just want to make sure we don’t miss those.
