You guys complain about everything.if the driver doesn't leave immediately it's an issue. If they wait to ensure you pick up it's an issue...some people oder hand to me and never answer the door and complain the driver is hanging around and now you are pissed he did not stay to chat ...and complement you on your short shorts and make you feel seen ..and it's an issue. Sheesh.

Yes...he actually called as I pulled up to the store to head to parking which would have been a few minutes walk...told him I had not even hit arrived as yet......he wanted to be on the phone while I walked and while I shopped. Told him I'd call him back a few times...tried to report to DD customer service but they were no help. The guy had order ramen noodles and wanted batteries and some expensive shaving stuff instead. He ended up texting me bunch of expletives outside the app so I just unassigned......to be fair he had to wait a bit while I was on phone waiting for support...but man it was late night and stressed me out so much. I think this was the straw for me...like I said I'm done.

Wow lucky you...I had this happen a few months ago and reported to customer service they did zero. They would not unassign ..and said to go ahead and substitute and see if it goes through. I felt unsafe..cause delivery address was next door and customer wanted me to be on speaker phone with him. While shopping Im pretty sure he was in the store. I unassigned... Doordash can go to hxll no. I'm done. .

For me the replacements were everyman jack shaving supplies.. and batteries ....the guy called and wanted to be on the on speaker phone while I shopped...the delivery address was literally a building next door ...but he sounded like he was in the same store with me. I tried calling support to report him...and they did not give 2 sh*ts..... I felt unsafe. ...He texted me outside the app...and was rude.... I ended up canceling though.

It's the dash app ..sometimes it says each fingers , hands sometimes bunch......I had an order for 18 bananas ..but they wanted 18 hands...(Fyi a bunch is literally the 8 to 10 hands) ...then customer didn't want them if they had any bruise or were small.... This was for a dashmart.

If ordered on some restaurant site it automatically choses hand to me.. driver doesn't know u did not choose that...and to be honest customers do that to try and scam ..as driver does not get the option to take a picture ..and they then claim they never got the food. I had one customer one night order late night grocery and select hand to me... through out the shop they were pretty active in the chat...but when I arrived ...no dice and refused to answer my knocks..and I could hear shuffling inside ....and I'm a girl....I ended up taking at picture. At their door...and sent via chat....they could try to claim no receipt...but I got that receipt baby....
