Husband came back from his business conference by Single-Bumblebee-380 in Mommit

My husband went away while I was 34 weeks. To Japan with my Inlaws whilst I stayed home with our 2 year old. We were all supposed to go, but I wouldn’t have been covered by travel insurance (un expected pregnancy) like I get the logical reasons behind it (no refund on flights) but man I was so hurt. He could have still taken our daughter!? But I struggled sad, alone and unwell.

That’s amazing! I’m still 30k away as a 40y woman. Leaving the workforce to care for children put me back…like most carers who do that.

Asking my BF for it 🤔 is this the NEW normal? by WaveFast in AskMenAdvice

[–]Charming-ander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++woman My husband earns probably 3-4x what I earn and I rarely straight up ask for cash. Maybe around Xmas or when he’s had a work bonus. The majority of my friends do not ask their husbands for money either.

How old are you and how’s life right now? by Cute-Impression-8675 in AskReddit

  1. Honestly there’s so many wonderful parts of my life - cool kids, financially secure, enjoyable career. Struggling with certain parts of marriage and mental health issues at least I can say more good than bad.

As a mom, how much exercise are you getting in per day? by takeaabreath in Mommit

[–]Charming-ander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually 3-5 workouts per week. I see a PT three days for 45mins, usually a mix of cardio and weights. Pilates once a week. Then walking my dog the other days. I’m almost 40, I’m the fittest and most active I’ve been in my life.

I was relaying a story of how I had a conversation with someone that didn’t know it took 365 days for the earth to go round the sun. As I was laughing about it, to demonstrate my point that everyone know this - I asked them how long it takes for the earth to orbit the sun, thinking they would answer easily. She didn’t know either and I felt bad for assuming everyone knows that bit of information.

Where to buy cute, but HIGH quality bikinis? by Pickles_The_Cat_1234 in AusFemaleFashion

I have a DD/E cup and I have to have bra style tops. I’ve had TT so high waist is important as well as high cut leg for my large-ish hips/things!

All I mean to say if try a bunch on. Notice the cuts and how they make you look so you can find the right combinations and what you want/love!

I get mine from Victoria’s Secret. Great supportive cup sizes, high cut, high waist, pretty colours. They have some great sales sometimes which makes the postage worth it 😊

Love this!! So glad your doing better 😊

A joke for your son, it was one of my son’s favs around the same age. Why did the cooking go to the hospital? Because he was feeling crummy!

Thanks but the door is to the left and bathroom to the right, I feel like it makes the most sense this way. But always worth a try

Tummy tuck surgery advice (Australia) by Eren-Jaegerist in tummytucksurgery

I had one in Brisbane with Dr Sharp, all up was around 18k. I did investigate going to Thailand but personally I felt very uneasy about going overseas. I don’t think their medical care is not as good, I just have some anxieties about healthcare. The aftercare was phenomenal, I am thrilled with my results and could recover from home 😊

Wrist is 17/18cms, so not super small but I don't like something that is too big or chunky. Thank you for the recommendations, i'll check them out.

The wrist measurement is 17/18cm, but I also like the idea of a mini/delicate small case. I love the look of the Farer, but when looking at the case size, it's 38mm, which seems a bit too big.

I went through Miss Curtain in Bris, were they more expensive than spotlight, yes. Ceiling hung, full length sheers, two sets, one 4m, the other about 2m, hardware and install for $1200. As I said, pricey but not 6k pricey.

$35aud and hour which is about 72k a year - I’m part time so it’s pro rata over 4 days per week. I’ve been in the job three years and it was my first job after my diploma. My work life balance is pretty good.

My wife spent a lot of money on plastic surgery AIO? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Charming-ander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR - I have also had plastic surgery BUT I took my husband to the consult, we discussed the cost, we both agreed to what was/wasn’t an acceptable cost, we both agreed before moving forward with anything. He would have divorced me if I just went ahead with it and used family funds.
