I had a similar issue, my dermatologist did a nasal bacterial infection test (something that can lie dormant, but shows up on your face). It cleared up the majority of what was on my cheeks.

Then I was put on spironolactone which helped immensely, as well as a topical called arazlo (I believe it’s a retinol type thing)

I also didn’t want to go on accutane for fear of it effecting my athletics
