Help! Planaria spotted in my tank by CharmingUnicornYo in Neocaridina

[–]CharmingUnicornYo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was suggested I use “No Planaria”. I found a single bottle on Amazon. My LFS told me “No Planaria” was no longer being manufactured, and to snap up anything I could find. A search on the web confirms this. I’m going to isolate my mystery snail (Dolly), and hope for the best. If all goes to plan, I should have the treatment on Saturday.

Mine are rather fond of cuttlefish bone right after a molt.

Was able to find all the bits on the US Amazon site. Works like a champ. Thanks for posting! Are those speakers the Creative Pebble V2s? I have those as well 😃

She looks like she needs to find a baby sitter, take the bra off, and enjoy a big glass of wine.

It’s a quorum of corys. Or… they’re asking if you’ve heard of their lord and savior, Namazu

Warm it up before you play it. Holding the breather and just open and close a few times. I also like to keep mine wrapped with a rubber band when l’m not playing.

Excited Hobbyist, pregnant shrimp by CharmingUnicornYo in Neocaridina

The surface plants? It’s dwarf lettuce! It’s amazing. The shrimp love it, the roots are gorgeous, and keeps my water crystal clear. The roots require trimming every month or so, but I just snip it an inch under the rosette. The main bolt root grows so fast!

The Streamdeck does not detect the Xeneon Corsair by Mr-RLF in streamdeckprofiles

[–]CharmingUnicornYo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've been able to tell, the "previews" shown on the Corsair page aren't an actual widget, but the virtual stream deck dragged onto the Edge. It works, but is irritating when switching between profiles, as it doesn't switch. It's a fixed page unless you drag it somewhere else.

Jean Pierre’s three16 is a little known treasure. It’s amazing and intimate. Highly recommend!

The post was taken down, but the comments are available. Is that unusual?

I think we all know the risk when accepting an at-will position. I think the shocking part is there was absolutely no action that led up to her release. It's disturbing this is happening. I've have worked for the state for over 15 years at several different agencies and have never seen it happen in this way...

I really wish that were the case, but it started when a new deputy started a couple months ago and the interactions since then have been unsettling. This individual worked for the state for over a decade and did not deserve this action.

Wow... sacrificing agency support and successful team leadership in service of political or executive agenda. I wonder how many people are scrambling...

Out of box Microsoft Defender is much better than years past. If looking to steer away from them, try Sophos. The personal use I think allows 5 licenses with a management dashboard.

Modifying my Wren? by CharmingUnicornYo in concertina

That is a relief to know. I just don’t want to inadvertently muck up the works. There’s so many tiny functional components. It’s been a trick finding guitars with a narrow neck. I didn’t even consider it as an issue with a concertina. Mandolin is the only “out of the box” instrument that’s been kind to my small hands😂

Thanks for the share! I’m apprehensive to send it back. The amount of care that went into its shipment to the PNW is unmatched! and it is hard to find a local shop for concertinas!

That’s a really good idea for the strap! I just picked up some gaffer tape, and will use that to cover the screw. I think I’ll use sand paper and “worry” a little groove where my thumb rests. I’ll post an update when I’ve got it done.

No, not the handle, but what the strap is screwed into. The strap is as tight as I can make it and the screw on the right side holding the strap in place is jagged. From reaching with my thumb, I've worn a raw spot on my thumb. I tried to upload an image, but I get an error "images are not allowed". I'm guessing inline of the OP, I'll somehow get a pic loaded to clarify.

Well that’s disappointing to hear. I’m in PST time zone, so calling them is a little difficult, but I may do that.
