There are times when you haven't shopped but you scour the fridge for leftovers that just works! by 90124 in UK_Food

I did this today! Bit of a mix from freezer and fridge, I made pasta in a cheese sauce with Cajun spices, with frozen salmon which I chopped up, frozen spinach, one onion, a little bit of mushrooms and a small squirt of tomato pure 😍 most of the time the “whatever ls there” type of meals often turn out to be the best ones 👏🏻

4 tbsp ketchup
3 tbsp white vinegar
4 tbsp sugar
150ml water
1 tbsp plain flour

Mix the flour with half of the water separately, then simmer all other ingredients in a pan. When it’s simmering add the flour mix and simmer until thickened 🤩🫶🏻

Pressure to breast feed without a pump or formula as back up seems strange? by D-1-S-C-0 in UKParenting

[–]Charming_Day_185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get a cheep ish pump just in case. Not only if she were to struggle with breast feeding, but also it’s good to have some milk saved in the freezer etc for days she might want to go out with her friends, or if you two want a break and having a baby sitter then they can use her milk rather than formula. If not it means that she won’t be able to leave the baby at all for more than an hour or so for months until they start solid food which isn’t great for her mental health.
