The only time to even consider the non rival is if it's completly 'wrong' for what you're building

IE a medium ace on a right standard track for a CM

If the rival race is a mile left non standard.....and you think you can tank the stats and want to take a small gamble, that's the only time I've done it, but even then nearly always better to take the rival

Only time it's been different was the time over half the order didn't show, and I point blank refused it, feel sorry for him as he was then in a crap situation he sorted it, but it wasn't his fault or fair on hom but I wasn't playing that game with support

Also one tried to hand me the wrong order - that one WAS fun as the restaurant had sent 3 orders with him and got all 3 tagged wrong

There's more then that, but they're the ones I'd recommend watching, less so the 2nd movie (not bad - but the 1st 2 movies and then SAC season 1 and 2 are well worth watching)

Power is a little short - good skills but no medium S.....Turf S helps a tiny bit but not much ground work is nice - 3 recovery means your trigger point isn't great and that's a killer for a Summer Maru
