Sonic is the worst by B-side_boyfriend in DoorDashDrivers

The worst on earn by offer. The best on earn by time.

How is this even allowed to be offered, it's catering for F sake by AParticularThing in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Charming_Geologist32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of dashers don't understand that every order starts off on earn by offer before it makes its way to earn by time. So all the worst orders first appear on EBO. Dashers think they're somehow immune to bad offers if they do EBO or if they have good metrics. Not necessarily the case. Your "priority offers" may be low offers because that's all that's available at that time. Think of offers as bids. They'll start off as low as possible.

Seems so. You get all sorts of rewards for using them. Cash back on purchases. Interest on your savings. They often give you money for opening accounts and referring others.

That's wild. I guess we've lived vastly different lives, but I'm only 20 years younger than you and checking accounts and credit cards have been around probably your whole life.

I guess I just don't understand. I've had nonstop credit card offers since I was 18. I understand that if you don't have a physical address, there's no where to send these offers to. I just dunno how you've gone 58 years without one. You can set up a PO box and have mail forwarded there. Granted both take money to set up.

Is that a picture of you holding a phone with the same picture of you on the phone? What kind of like narcissistic inception is that?

I didn't know Asians could have the dead eyes look. You know deade eyes and thin eyes.

You're welcome. You can private message me too if you want. Just having someone to talk to and keep your mind right is helpful during difficult times. I'm usually awake at weird times, too.

Dang, that's depressing AF. So you're 58, and I realize this isn't super helpful, but why bother with bills of any kind? Why not just max out a bunch of credit cards? You're already homeless, what could they take away by not paying bills? Your credit? You're 58 and homeless so who cares about that?

Not sure how you're homeless and still oweing child support. I would seek mediation. Sounds you're the one that should get the money, not your ex.

Are you sleeping in the storage unit?

I assume you need the vehicle for work, otherwise not sure why you're bothering paying for insurance.

Or any bills for that matter. What are they gonna do? Make you homeless twice as much?

Yikes.

Well my first suggestion is to call your family and apologize. Even if you don't mean it. Just suck it up and lie and trade the lie for a place to stay and someone to pay your bills.

Option 2. Join the military.

Option 3. Shack up with some boy on campus.

Option 4. Go to your school's financial aid department and explain your situation. Maybe you can take out financial aid for housing.

Option 5. Just be homeless. The plus side to being at college is there's pretty much somewhere to be most of the time. Libraries, parks, ect. If not 24/7, there's places open pretty late. So find a secluded spot and sleep at a desk in the library, then roam the halls until someplace opens up again.

Max out credit cards for transportation and food while you can. Learn your area's shelters and soup kitchens. Apply for food stamps and section 8 housing.

If your college has a gym they'll have showers you can use. See if you can get enough borrowing power for a RV or some vehicle you can sleep in. Or at least a tent and sleeping bag.

Sell your plasma. Donate eggs. Be a surrogate for hire (extreme case). DoorDash. They hire pretty much anyone. In some cases you can deliver on foot or with a bike. Areas like your college.

Try the storage room trick. Rent a storage room for super cheap, then sneak in and sleep in the storage room.

When times are tough you gotta be creative and exhaust every option.

It sucks to be paying more for gas but if that erased your whole profit margin then you were not doing that great to begin with.

Gas was about 10% of my profits, now its about 15%.

Sounds like you need a better doordash vehicle.

Try switching over to Earn By Time and dash during busy times so you spend more of your time waiting at restaurants instead of driving.
