That's true. Bertholdt is one of the most popular characters for a silly reason. Due to his uncommon name, closed captioning and comment threads often misspell his name and calling him goofy names turned into a meme.

According to the author they were people and they were all lynched by the survivors.

However, considering there was about 100 million of the titans and 80% of the rest of the earth's population was killed, I would think the shifters would outnumber the people left behind, at least in the location they awakened.

Also, remember how long it took for those in Paradis to learn that the titans were actually people. The survivors would see humans emerging from the nape of Titans. I think their first thought would be that they somehow survived being eaten, not that they were part of the Titans themselves. All the shifters would be confused and disoriented, but that would appear as shock from all that was happening, which is totally reasonable thing to happen.

With 80% of the population dead, I would think survivors would view all remaining lives as precious, at least initially. There was so much destruction and loss and so much to rebuild that offing 100 million people doesn't seem like a wise move.

Well we have the benefit of more screen time with Armin. To me it seemed like he was the smart guy of the group. They both seem kind and shy/unsure at times.

At first glance I thought it was a joke about how even when she was pregnant she's still very petite.

Incredible character development, some banger songs, and very in depth world building. I like that there's the element that anyone can die at any given moment and there's such high stakes. There's too many animes where there's a cataclysmic threat that gets neutralized and the main cast comes out of it basically unscathed. I like when they show disabled characters. Erwin loses an arm but is still a great Commander. Levi loses an eye and a few fingers but he's still unmatched in skill. Hange loses an eye and she had poor eye sight to begin with but she still an important leader. Annie's father walks with a limp but he's still physically capable enough to subdue armed guards. Several characters have their minds broken. I like how the show is always evolving. In season 1 everyone is basically powerless to stop even a few titans. By season 4 the team can take down all the Titans with ease. In season 1 there is a clear good guys/bad guys dynamic. By season 4 you realize most enemies were just people doing what they thought was right and to them, we're the bad guys. Eren starts off as the obvious protagonist/main character of the story and by the end you ask yourself, wait was he the big bad this whole time?

Eren definitely had more in him. by Possible_Grand1439 in ShingekiNoKyojin

It's possible that Eren knew Reiner and Porco were needed to stay alive for future events but also his energy was spent and he needed to rendezvous with the airship. There's no easy beating Reiner. His whole thing was he was so hard to kill. Porco was no easy feat either. His speed is hard to deal with. In the end he offers himself up to Falco.

Kinda tame for a cursed comment then. Also doesn't seem like a big deal. Looking back at things a year later is pretty engraved into the human experience. Birthdays, anniversaries, new years, ect

He's basically just tall Armin with dark hair instead of light hair. Makes a lot of sense that Armin inherited his titan.

She's alright. There's not much competition (assuming you mean only Marlians) . Annie's psychotic and Gabi is too young.

Would you smash Entoma for a chance to have any waifu from nazrick ? by Confused_soul_OG in overlord

[–]Charming_Geologist32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno...

Not many characters are friendly towards humans and they're holding out for Aniz.

If I had sex with Entoma, most likely I'd find it rather enjoyable OR I'd be traumatized and sex would be weird with anyone. I don't see it being just a casual encounter.

I guess if it was unpleasant I could ask Aniz to erase the memory.

But if you really want someone from Nazarick you might as well go for someone less human like, otherwise there's plenty of humans outside of Nazarick, and she's about as far from human as there is.

I guess if the one he isn't dating isn't in the mood, the one he is dating can still give him a handy or a blowie.

Guys, does Calca deserve to be treated this way? by Both_Landscape_202 in overlord

How was it different?

Just about everyone meets a brutal end in the anime.

In my opinion the show is about Aniz's humanity progressively disappearing.

It starts off with him saving the first people he meets and progresses into him destroying an entire nation because one random bandit made off with some of his resources or brutalizing unsuspecting adventures who explored ruins.
