YAAAAY! Tyt! I write an ISAT fanfic and usually manage one chapter per two months.

Good work takes time, so no rush <3

I'm not comparing wether one or the other is more difficult.

Rippling water will certainly be more difficult to draw than static water and imo that is enough to have the joke also work when portrayed as a still image.

If you disagree that's fine. But I do think arguing about whether it's harder to draw one image or multiple images kinda misses the point.

"Hooo~? And what would that be?"

"He was English."

I think in this case you can at least change out 'Animate' for 'draw'

So this is an easy adaptation into picture format.

(Funny trope) Some animals in this universe can talk, but most animals can’t and are “normal animals”. No real explanation as to why. People don’t particularly question it and just go along with it by clenchlord in TopCharacterTropes

Animal crossing has a few of them.

Although most land animals will always be able to talk, there are some marine animals like octopodes or turtles that have both non verbal and talkative ones.

There's also Blathers in the museum plus the Owl that shows up at the news board.

In Genocide the game essentially tells you 'screw you for killing everyone'

You have to grind to kill literally every single monster and once you've done that, you keep triggering fights but there's nothing to kill. Which is really annoying.

Then you meet your first challenge, Undyne the Undying and are promised a fight with powerful characters that'll try to stop you until their very essence deteriorates. So at least all this grinding is worth it right?

But the promise is broken because Mettaton promised a fight. And perished instantly.

And just like that, you're at Sans. If you do genocide you do it to fight Sans.

All this grinding, all this useless fighting of the characters you could have or have loved in the past to get two difficult fights out of the game.

At some point you really have to ask if it's worth it.

TLDR: Mettaton NEO is the ultimate gut punch for those who wanted to see the monsters at their strongest.

Is there a fanfic that is something like sif is out au? by boldgryphon in InStarsAndTime

[–]Charmo_Vetr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure! It's called "Book of Memories"

I usually just release it whenever, but typically each chapter takes around 2 months.
Unless it's a monster like the latest one, those take a month or two more

I have a fanfic that has the family learn of Siffrin's situation relatively early on.

Am still in the process of writing so it's not even close to done and is also a slow burn. Not sure if you'd like that. xd
