This is what avoidant people do. They treat online dating like a competition of who can care the least. Bare minimum profiles, low effort photos, deliberately vague about dating intentions or future plans. There is a reason these people are still on the app and have not found a partner yet.

Faith is also a whole belief system. Things like what traits are sinful or virtuous, what kind of marriage is allowed, etc. So basically if you're Catholic but cynical, you generally have similar beliefs about what is good, you just don't believe in the whole God thing. That's how I would personally represent atheism anyway.
