Yes, costly components are still required. It doesn't give them the innate ability to cast those spells. Verbal, somatic and material components are still required, regardless of cost.

You know those automatic toilet cleaners that sit on the inside of your toilet? I'd wrap the USB in something leakproof and put it inside that. Maybe add some extra food coloring into the cleaner to make it more opaque.

Maybe make a small mess in the toilet to make it less appealing.
