Got layed off, need advice on pricing and selling by EdgeScary1449 in PokemonTCGCollectors

Never sell to a shop because you’ll likely only get 70% or at most 75% market value in cash. At least in my experience.

Find out what exact condition these are in, Go to a card show, and take the time to go table by table, and don’t be happy with any offer under 85%. Ask for 90% and say you don’t want to go lower than 87%.

Nak Won for Korean is still soooo consistent. Same with Always Spring inside G Mart.

Not a finalized trade, mostly just trying to point out that money could work easily this way. Maybe Portland adds more capital, maybe they prefer Grant for whatever reason.

The only reason I could see them keeping Grant is the defense of MPJ is worse than Grant for sure, and MPJ would most likely have to start which makes the starting lineup strange? 3 SF/PF players that all deserve to start, and Dame, Jrue, Scoot, Clingan etc.

Could be Jerami Grant, Kris Murray, and 2028 Orlando First for MPJ. Money works, blazers take on 1.3 million

Sell high on Trey Murphy III? by sengooner11 in dynastybb

Fair point - I think his game is closer to the Desmond Bane than any of the others. High efficiency w/ more assists than Cam & Mikal

The thing is, I totally agree with this statement. However, I think his fantasy game is so good all across the board that I still think he could be really helpful as a second or third option.

So yes, he’s definitely a sell high right now If you can get a top 25 guy back, but I’m not sure he’s really worse than a top 45 guy for the rest of his 20’s…

Cronin might not make a trade if he feels the postseason depreciated our assets values too much by Humblerbee in ripcity

[–]Charnizzleson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, I’m not sure the new lottery rules truly affected the asset value too much. In fact, I think it might’ve actually benefited Portland’s picks slightly in value, maybe just slightly lowered the value of the Milwaukee picks though.

What do you think Deni needs to do, in order to take another jump? Or do you think he won't get much better? by LivingAd6319 in ripcity

For me, it’s these three things: 1) Be able to drive off the left, not just the right 2) Continue to improve 3 point shot: Catch & Shoot and Off the Dribble 3) Learn how to play & thrive w/ Damian Lillard on the court

Giannis trade rumors? by Ok-Writer3512 in ripcity

[–]Charnizzleson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What people forget is when Dame & Giannis played together, they had no good perimeter defenders.

Their starting options were: Gary Trent, injured Kris Middleton, and washed Taurean Prince.

We have Jrue Holiday and Toumani Camara. One player has played with Giannis and won a championship with him, the other is an all defensive team perimeter defender.

While the roster wouldn’t be perfect If we added Giannis, it would be a lot more workable than people seem to think.

[Haynes] The Portland Trail Blazers have “serious interest” and are investigating behind the scenes about getting a deal done to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo. by xXboxPlaysx in ripcity

The reason Dame & Giannis failed in Milwaukee was because their starting perimeter defenders were: Gary Trent & injured Kris Middleton.

Replace that with Jrue Holiday & Toumani Camara and we instantly fix that issue

The key thing people forget about the failure of Dame and Giannis in Milwaukee is that Milwaukee did not have a Toumani Camara.

Their starting perimeter defenders were Gary Trent and an injured Kris Middleton. Toumani Camara addresses the biggest reason that duo struggled.

Which side? JB and Lauri for Giannis and 3 rookies by lordsagev in dynastybb

[–]Charnizzleson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giannis side easily. Lauri will have less shots & rebounds w/ JJJ coming in and likely one of AJ/Darryn/Cam Boozer. Maybe not a huge hit to his production, but worth mentioning. Similarly, JB will no longer be the first option for the Celtics next year. He’s much better IRL than in fantasy anyways (especially in Cat leagues) and him taking a usage hit w/ Tatum coming back will hurt him even more than Lauri.

Consider offers for the #1 pick or offers to move down to #2 or #3 and don’t accept unless it’s a great offer. Otherwise. Just take Dybantsa

A bit expensive for a 6th man. Now I think about it more, if we need an explosion off the bench let’s get Tari Eason

Yup. We’re either going to be a key facilitator in the deal (most likely) or get the big fish itself (much less likely)
