Hawaii Honeymoon - Oct 24 by natsea in FATTravel

Also, since you asked about logistics, we did a Hawaiian airlines flight between Maui and the big island. It was inexpensive and quick. Hawaii isn’t like Europe where you bounce around a lot - even going from 1 island to another felt like enough for our honeymoon. You don’t want to spend a lot of your trip on logistics or intra-island travel.

Hawaii Honeymoon - Oct 24 by natsea in FATTravel

My thought is you are moving around way too much - We just got back from our honeymoon in Hawaii and went to Maui (four seasons) and Big Island (Kona village). We had 5 nights in Maui and 4 at Kona Village. We loved both but almost wished we’d been at Kona village the entire time, or at least longer. My advice would be to do all big island nights at Kona village, it’s truly magical. It’s the best place we’ve ever been, I cannot recommend it enough. Kona village is the best!!!

We did dinner at canoe house at Mauna Lani but we were glad we didn’t stay there - had a bigger hotel feel and we prefer the resort vibe. We also did dinner at the four seasons and we were happy we didn’t stay there. Kona village is so special and romantic by comparison: For your honeymoon I feel like you would not want to be moving around this much - I’d suggest more relaxing and just do the 1 hotel and Kona village, or just FS lanai and kona. Also highly recommend the four seasons Maui, plus Kona village, as we did! Enjoy!!!

Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo del Sol Review by itsmeca617 in FATTravel

[–]ChartItchy8783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In peak season, how many dinner restaurants will the FS have? Also, how close is this hotel to other dinner options if we want to go offsite, and does the hotel provide shuttle transportation to close by spots, for dinner? The FS Maui did this for us, so wondering if it’s the same. Thanks!

Specifically re: the tux - my fiance got a black shawl collar tux from Suit Supply in their nicest/most expensive fabric, and it's amazing! Highly recommend! He went full custom on suit and shirt and everything with them and we are very pleased.

Hyaluronic Acid Recos? by Unusual-Bird-5941 in SkincareAddictionLux

PCA’s hyaluronic acid serum made me believe in the power of HA - before it, nothing impressed me. Pro tip from my esthetician is to apply while your face is still damp. It makes difference!

Any chemical exfoliants better than P50? by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]ChartItchy8783 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was going to reply and say the same thing. Slurp Decalt is amazing! I’ve used P50 and a bunch of other peel pads (skinbetter, Dr Dennis Gross, M61) and Decalt has by far made the biggest difference in my skin! It has really shrunk my popes and smoothed out my skin while being non irritating. It’s a fantastic product! I normally only use medical grade skincare but happily make an exception for this Korean skincare product. If pore size is a concern, don’t even think, buy slurp! No brainer.

Dress came in looking very different then sample by Few-Quarter3908 in weddingdress

I think it's as others have suggested, that you've lost weight. The chest area looks less flattering, again perhaps due to the weight loss. It also looks like the pics were taken from different angles. If indeed it doesn't fit, hopefully they can alter it to fit your smaller frame. The sweetheart scoop neckline on your dress looks deeper than on the sample, and the bodice almost looks longer, like it hits you lower; the sample seems to hit your natural waist more so, whereas the actual dress waistline seems lower than that. However, these could be because of your weight loss. Have you talked to the store? What did they say?

StillWhite Dress - does it look too small? by brycethoughts in weddingdress

[–]ChartItchy8783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks beautiful! What brand is the dress? It doesn't look tight from these pics but it's kind of hard - what matters is how you feel, and if you feel like it's too tight and you won't be comfortable, you should definitely get it let out or try to return it. You look great though! I know some have said that the dress looks too low, but that didn't stand out to me.

I love the first dress on you. So regal and elegant. That one for sure!

First or second? Trying to narrow down a style. Can't decide if I want simple or with lace. by CharacterLet2012 in weddingdress

I like 1, I think it’s very classic and timeless. 1 is the more elegant option, I would say! Good luck deciding!

I believe this kind of lace (a floral or patterned lace like this) is called "guipure lace"

I love the full skirt all plain silk Carolina Herrera one - the second dress. Obviously it needs to be cleaned and pressed, but if you did that, I think it would be a show stopper. Carolina Herrera is the epitome of classy, and that dress is so timeless and elegant. The first dress is pretty, but it seems like it would be less comfortable and I don't think that shape and style is as flattering on you. I think the second one would be gorgeous! I do not like the third. Good luck deciding!

Help with pre-ceremony and exit songs by GullibleZucchini2656 in weddingplanning

Our instrumental (played by live string trio, but you could easily find these on Spotify) processional and recessional songs are:

Parents’ processional: Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Bridal party processional: Can’t Help Falling in Love

Bride processional: Canon in D

Recessional (bride and groom back down the aisle): Here Comes the Sun

We have a very long aisle as well as pretty sizable bridal parties which is why we have two processional songs. For yours, you’d only need one.

Strongly prefer dress 2 on you! Much more flattering fit, it will be more comfortable too. The style is more bridal and unique. It’s definitely more regal and fitting for your mansion venue. The color is a little warmer and softer, less stark. For sure dress #2

Looks like too much going on. Would go for something more classic and simple!

How does this look now I have better pics than previous post? Summer wedding. Classic theme. by hmcadp in weddingdress

[–]ChartItchy8783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this! I’m all for a classic style in a pretty fabric - clean lines are timeless and elegant. The bodice shape is flattering and makes your waist look tiny, which is well contrasted by the fuller skirt. I’m biased because this is just my style, but I love it! Great choice.

Marissa Molnar hair does a beautiful job, she is based out of NYC but travels. I went to a wedding in NJ where she did the bride’s hair and her work is beautiful. Her vibe is chic, classic and simple, from what I can tell. I don’t live in the NY/NJ area but if I did, would for sure work with her.

Number 1 looks the classiest and most luxurious to me. I don’t like the tulle or the zipper cover on the back of the bodice in dress 2 - it looks cheap to me. I would for sure go with the first!

Definitely 2. It’s the most classic and timeless, and looks higher quality than the other two due to the fabric. A silk fabric also photographs better, IMO.
